Chapter 238 I'm sorry

Mingyao whispered in Pei Siyu's ear and giggled, her clear laughter like the tinkling of silver bells.

Pei Siyu placed Mingyao on the bed, saying, "You're a little out of it."

"Get some rest."

He suppressed his burning desire and looked coldly at Mingyao.

Mingyao clung to Pei Siyu's arm like an octopus, "Don't go."

"Honey, I want you to stay with me."

She used Pei Siyu's arm to hug him again.

Pei Siyu took a deep breath. "Okay, I'll go with you."

He sat on the bed, looking at Mingyao tenderly: "Lie down first."

Mingyao smiled with satisfaction.

"I want to take off my clothes."

She spoke indistinctly, staring intently into Pei Siyu's eyes.

"What's wrong?"

Mingyao rested her head on Pei Siyu's palm, her eyes seemingly seeing only him.

Pei Siyu felt inexplicably embarrassed. He looked away and said, "You're not feeling well, I won't touch you."

"Get some rest."

His tone was exceptionally gentle: "I will always be with you."

Mingyao leaned closer to Pei Siyu, her lips moving as if she wanted to say something.

Pei Siyu.

"I'm so scared..."

"What are you afraid of?"

Mingyao closed her eyes and mumbled sleepily, "I'm afraid you'll never talk to me again."

"sorry……"

Her voice became so faint it was barely audible; you couldn't hear it unless you listened very carefully.

By the time Pei Siyu got close to Mingyao's ear, Mingyao had already fallen asleep.

He frowned, staring intently at Mingyao, as if trying to discern something from her face.

I woke up the next day.

Mingyao yawned, and just as she was about to move, she looked up and saw Pei Siyu staring straight at her.

Mingyao was so startled that she jumped up from the bed. "Husband, what are you doing sitting here?"

Pei Siyu had a particularly glaring dark spot under his eyes, and his cold, stern expression betrayed his weariness.

Didn't you get any rest last night?

As soon as she finished speaking, some fragmented images flashed through Mingyao's mind.

Her face flushed bright red, and she slapped her face in frustration.

The drug was too strong; what exactly did she do to Pei Siyu while she was in a state of delirium?

Mingyao cautiously glanced at Pei Siyu out of the corner of her eye and noticed some pink marks on his neck.

"Awake?"

Mingyao felt a chill run down her spine; she only remembered fragments of what happened last night.

In my memory, she seemed to be hugging Pei Siyu's neck and nibbling at him.

I hope it's not true.

"Honey, these things on your neck..."

A smile appeared on Pei Siyu's face that terrified Mingyao.

"Your masterpiece."

Mingyao sat stiffly on the bed, wishing she could disappear into a crack in the ground.

He leaned closer to Mingyao, staring into her eyes, and said with interest, "Looks like you've remembered."

"Feel sorry……"

As soon as she finished speaking, Mingyao felt a chill on her neck.

She stood like a puppet, not daring to breathe.

Pei Siyu glanced at Ming Yao's tense face, curled his lips, and bit down even harder.

The pain in her neck made Mingyao cry out. Tears welled up in her eyes as she choked out, "It hurts so much."

"I was wrong, I will never do it again."

Pei Siyu nibbled on her neck again as revenge.

Mingyao was in the wrong, so she pouted and could only silently endure it.

"Don't put yourself in such a dangerous situation again."

His deep voice was alluring, and his tone left no room for argument.

Mingyao looked at him with an awkward smile, "I didn't mean to trouble you, did I?"

Pei Siyu grasped the back of her neck, staring intently into her eyes, "If you don't want to trouble me, then go trouble Pei Zhao?"

"He's not an outsider."

Mingyao muttered something.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck.

Pei Siyu's eyes flashed with a cold light, and the surrounding temperature suddenly dropped below zero.

Mingyao's heart leaped into her throat in fright. She forced a smile and said, "Honey, am I wrong?"

"From now on, you can only contact me, understand?"

He spoke slowly and deliberately, and Mingyao nodded like a little chick pecking at rice.

Even if she had the greatest courage, she wouldn't dare to go looking for Pei Zhao again.

Pei Siyu's expression softened a bit, and Mingyao seized the opportunity to ask, "Honey, can I ask you a question?"

He seemed to be in a good mood, and Mingyao asked expectantly, "Can we go back to our hometown together for Christmas?"

Pei Siyu glanced at him sideways, a smile playing on his lips: "Just to ask this?"

Mingyao nodded vigorously: "Very important."

He gave a curt "hmm," his expression changing as quickly as turning the pages of a book.

Mingyao pouted. How could this man be so unpredictable?

After Pei Siyu left the room, Mingyao took the opportunity to tell Su Qiqiang the news.

"You still have something to say?!" Su Qiqiang roared, "Because of you, the Su Group's shares have plummeted!"

"If you can't solve this, don't go back this time. Let your sister take Su Yao back with her!"

Mingyao gripped her phone tightly, a hint of coldness creeping into her eyes.

She feigned fear and said, "Dad, I'm sorry, it's all my fault."

"What's the use of apologizing now that things have come to this?"

"Su Xueya, I only care about the results!"

Mingyao choked back tears as she kept saying kind words, creating the illusion for Su Qiqiang that she was afraid.

Only after Su Qiqiang's tone softened a bit did she repeatedly assure him that she could solve the problem, and only then did she give up.

She exhaled a breath of stale air and stared blankly out the window.
