She called Su Xueya, but the mechanical female voice repeatedly indicated that no one was answering.
Having no other choice, Mingyao had to seek help from Zhang Peng.
"Assistant Zhang, could you please find my sister?"
"She ran away from the hospital and we can't contact her now."
Zhang Peng nodded and immediately sent people to look for it.
Mingyao felt completely exhausted, and a persistent buzzing sound filled her ears.
Su Yao is unconscious, and Su Xueya has escaped. If Su Qiqiang finds out about anything, he will explode like a powder keg.
Keeping it a secret wasn't a solution, so Mingyao dialed Su Qiqiang's number.
Su Qiqiang was initially very impatient, but when Mingyao mentioned that Su Yao was unconscious, he became furious.
"Mingyao, is this how you take care of Su Yao?"
"If anything happens to Su Yao, I'll make sure you die a horrible death!"
Mingyao sighed silently to herself, fully aware of Su Qiqiang's reaction.
After Su Qiqiang vented his anger, Mingyao continued, "It was Su Xueya who pushed Su Yao down. Grandpa scolded her, and she ran away now. There's no news of her."
The person on the other end of the phone was silent for a moment before speaking again in a cold voice.
"Why don't you go look for it?"
"She ran too fast; by the time I chased after her, she had already disappeared from sight."
Mingyao took a deep breath, bracing herself for a scolding from Su Qiqiang.
Su Qiqiang started hurling insults at her.
"Mingyao, can't you be a little smarter?"
"If she causes trouble outside and exposes us, how will you handle the situation?"
"I shouldn't have asked you to keep an eye on her in the first place. You're useless; you only cause me trouble!"
