Aunt Wu stood at the door with Little Radish in her hand. When she saw Mingyao come out, she was startled.

"Don't worry, Aunt Wu," Mingyao comforted her first. "Master Pei agreed to let the child stay. Thank you, Aunt Wu, for taking care of him."

She secretly exhaled a breath of stale air.

Mingyao hugged him and gently patted his back as they walked towards the room.

"Miss Su, wait a moment." Aunt Wu called out to her, hesitating as if she wanted to say something but then stopped.

Mingyao felt something was off. "Aunt Wu, if you have something to say, just say it."

Before she could finish speaking, a clanging sound came from her room on the second floor.
