Chapter 82 Drunkenness

Mingyao smiled gently, "Can you let go first?"

Pei Siyu frowned slightly and muttered, "No."

He didn't let go; instead, he increased his strength, and Mingyao's body staggered forward two steps due to inertia.

She stopped by the bed and their eyes met.

"Su Xueya".

Pei Siyu's eyes were like black holes, possessing immense suction power.

If Mingyao isn't careful, she'll be completely consumed by his gaze.

Just as she was panicking, Pei Siyu sat up without warning.

"Master Pei, you..."

Before Mingyao could finish speaking, a soft, warm object pressed against her lips.

The taste of alcohol began to permeate her mouth, and Mingyao's mind went completely blank, her ears ringing.

Pei Siyu cupped her face in his hands, his advances fierce, giving her almost no time to breathe.

Mingyao's heart pounded like a drum, and her breath caught in her throat for a moment.

This can't be done!

Her last shred of reason screamed in her muddled mind, but the power in Mingyao's body was instantly drained.

She slumped limply in Pei Siyu's arms, utterly powerless to resist.

Pei Siyu took the opportunity to push her onto the bed, showering her with passionate kisses.

Their heavy breathing mingled together, and Mingyao's body became as hot as a boiled shrimp.

Just as they were about to take the next step, Pei Siyu, who was on top of her, stopped moving.

Mingyao blushed and whispered his name in his ear.

There was no movement.

She tentatively shook Pei Siyu's body, but no one paid any attention.

Did she fall asleep?

Upon realizing this, Mingyao was speechless and exasperated.

How can this guy just fall asleep like that?

She sighed, her eyes glazed over, staring at the crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling, the light stinging her eyes.

Pei Siyu's body was like a giant mountain, pressing down on her and making it hard for her to breathe.

Mingyao tried to push Pei Siyu away, but her arms were sore and she had no strength left.

After shoving for a while without managing to push the person away, Mingyao yawned as drowsiness surged in like a raging flood, unstoppable.

When Mingyao opened her eyes again, the faint morning light shone on her face through the gap in the curtains.

She steadied herself, staring blankly at the unfamiliar ceiling, her mind racing with memories of the previous night.

Oh, right!

Mingyao belatedly realized what was happening and subconsciously looked around.

Pei Siyu was lying beside her, his eyes closed, his sleeping face peaceful.

Mingyao's heart jumped into her throat, and her last bit of sleepiness was instantly dispelled.

She turned over very consciously and carefully got out of bed.

She needed to leave quickly before Pei Siyu regained consciousness to avoid causing unnecessary trouble.

To avoid making a sound, Mingyao moved barefoot, inch by inch, toward the door.

"stop!"

After taking only two steps, Pei Siyu's cold, eerie voice came from behind.

Mingyao stood frozen in place, not daring to breathe.

What bad luck! Why did he wake up at this time?

Mingyao forced a smile and said, "Good morning, Master Pei."

Pei Siyu's gaze was sharp. He got off the bed and approached Mingyao, exuding an invisible, suffocating sense of oppression.

Mingyao looked at Pei Siyu lewdly, swallowed hard, and said, "Master Pei, I..."

"Su Xueya, who gave you permission to sleep in my bed?"

His gaze sharpened, becoming piercing like a knife, as if he wanted to slice two pieces of flesh off Mingyao's face.

Mingyao: "..."

She frowned, looking at Pei Siyu with a wronged expression, "Mr. Pei, don't you remember what happened last night?"

Pei Siyu's face darkened; he clearly didn't remember what he had done while drunk. "Don't change the subject!"

"Who gave you permission to sleep in my bed?"

His long, slender hand gripped Mingyao's neck; with just a little more force, he could easily snap her neck.

The sudden feeling of being choked made Mingyao's throat feel uncomfortable. She coughed lightly twice, her facial features contorted in pain.

“Master Pei, you were the one who asked me to stay yesterday.”

"Don't worry, nothing happened between us."

She looked at Pei Siyu with a wronged and innocent expression, her eyes glistening with tears.

She choked back tears, with tears welling in her eyes, looking utterly pitiful.

Pei Siyu frowned, his expression growing even more somber, a storm brewing between his brows. "I'll keep you here?"

"Still trying to deny it!"

He suddenly increased the pressure on her hand, and Mingyao let out a painful groan: "Master Pei, what I said is true."

Her voice was hoarse with sobs, and tears streamed down her face as she explained, "Master Pei, Aunt Wu can testify for me."

“You were drunk yesterday and not fully conscious, even Assistant Wu Ma knew that.”

As soon as you speak of the devil, Wu Ma knocked on the door. "Master Pei, breakfast is ready."

Pei Siyu stared at Ming Yao with a stern look in his eyes and said, word by word, "Come in."

When Wu Ma opened the door, she immediately lowered her head upon seeing the scene inside, not daring to look any longer.

Pei Siyu glanced at Wu Ma and asked in a deep voice, "Was I drunk yesterday?"

"Yes, Master Pei was completely drunk yesterday and kept pestering Miss Su..."

"It was Miss Su and I who helped Master Pei into the house to rest."

Even Aunt Wu said so, so it seems Mingyao wasn't lying.

Pei Siyu's tightly furrowed brows relaxed slightly. He grunted and released his grip. "No one is allowed in my room next time!"

Aunt Wu answered hesitantly, "Yes!"

Mingyao rubbed her neck, which he had pinched red, coughed lightly twice, and glared at Pei Siyu with resentment.
