Mingyao took it as an insult and ignored it, continuing on her way.
Ding Qingle took off her glasses and jumped out of the driver's seat. "Su Xueya, stop right there!"
"How dare you ignore me!"
Wearing sky-high heels, she forcefully grabbed Mingyao's wrist and pulled her towards the car.
Mingyao was completely bewildered and looked at Ding Qingle with confusion: "What's going on here?"
"I have to go home, sorry."
She broke free from Ding Qingle's grasp and smiled slightly, a hint of apology in her expression.
Ding Qingle put her hands on her hips, furious.
She blocked Mingyao's path, turned her face away, and said rudely, "I told you to come with me, so come with me. Stop dawdling and being so annoying!"
Without saying a word, Ding Qingle grabbed her arm and roughly pressed her into the passenger seat.
"What exactly happened?"
Ding Qingle stepped on the gas, her tone impatient: "Why ask so many questions? You'll know when you get there."
Mingyao pouted, tightened her seatbelt, and turned to look at both sides of the street. "You've only been out of college for a short time, how come your personality has become so awful?"
Ding Qingle chuckled dryly and teased, "Isn't this all thanks to Du Feng and you?"
"Thanks to the two of you, I'm no longer being bullied."
Mingyao didn't reply, instead glancing at the fleeting scenery as if she were looking at a lantern.
She abruptly apologized as the sports car sped down the road.
"I was immature during my university years, I'm sorry."
"I really feel sorry."
The car slammed on the brakes, and Ding Qingle gripped the steering wheel tightly, staring intently at the red light ahead.
