Pei Siyu withdrew his scrutinizing gaze and scoffed, "Su Xueya, you overestimate her."
He looked at Mingyao again, a chilling glint in his eyes, "You overestimate yourself."
Mingyao clenched her fists, tilted her head back, and looked at Pei Siyu with a bright smile. "President Pei, people can change."
"I believe she genuinely regretted her actions."
Pei Siyu chuckled, turned his head, and his voice, cold and devoid of any warmth, drifted into Mingyao's ears on the wind, "Fine, I'll give her a chance."
"However, she cannot return to the company until this matter is resolved."
He glanced at Mingyao and continued, enunciating each word clearly, "You can't take leave either."
Mingyao's face lit up with joy, her eyes curving into crescent shapes. "President Pei, don't worry, Ni An and I won't let you down!"
It seems this guy still has some humanity after all.
