Chapter 255 Tea Appreciation

Upon hearing the stall owner's words, the woman in pink frowned, turned around, and asked coldly, "You also think they're a good match?"

Sensing the woman in pink's displeasure, the stall owner shrank back, somewhat frightened.

But seeing that the woman in front of him was only in her early twenties, he couldn't help but think of his own daughter who had died young.

He softened for a moment and said, "Girl, listen to this old man's advice. Although that man seems to dote on his wife, he is not someone to be trifled with. It's best not to cause trouble. Your good man is behind you."

The woman in pink tilted her head and looked at the stall owner with a charming smile, "You old man are quite interesting. How could you be so sure that young man wasn't my ideal match?"

The stall owner pursed his lips and sighed, "The way he looks at his wife is different from how he looks at others. Girl, don't be too persistent; you can't force it..."

The woman in pink's face turned cold again. "How do you know it can't be forced? Mind your own business."

The stall owner wanted to say a few more words, but in the blink of an eye, the woman in pink had disappeared.

The stall owner sighed, just then an old woman came in.

The old woman handed over the basket and said with a smile, "What's with the sighing on such a beautiful day? Quickly, make me some more red bean cakes. My granddaughter loves your red bean cakes..."

"Hey, I haven't seen you setting up your stall lately. What's wrong? Is your child sick again?" The old woman's voice trailed off towards the end.

The stall owner took the basket, wrapped up the red bean cakes, and said, "You've come just in time. There are only six red bean cakes left. You can have them all."

Seeing the old woman nod, the stall owner said, "That's right, thank goodness the old man was kind, otherwise my poor grandson... sigh."

At this point, the old man suddenly became excited again, "However, today I met a benefactor who gave me..." As he spoke, the stall owner looked around and, seeing that no one was watching them, carefully took out the money bag.

The old woman beamed with joy as she looked at the bulging money bag, and she also breathed a sigh of relief for the stall owner.

"That's right, you've done good deeds your whole life, good people always get good rewards. Why are you still setting up a stall? Go home and take care of your grandson!" the old woman said happily in a low voice.

The stall owner smiled broadly, "I still have quite a few pastries left. It would be a waste not to sell them. Besides, I'd like to see where my benefactor lives so I can return the remaining silver. I can't accept a reward without having done anything for him."

The stall owner waved his hand, tidying up the few remaining pastries on his stall while answering the old woman's question.

The old woman sighed, "You, you've been honest your whole life, but you know how to get along with people."

"Alright, I'm going home now. My granddaughter should be back soon; she went out to play this evening and didn't eat dinner, she must be hungry."

The stall owner quickly stuffed the four wrapped osmanthus cakes into the old woman's basket.

The old woman repeatedly declined, saying, "No, no, it's not easy for you to run a small business."

The stall owner stubbornly put the pastries into her basket, smiling and saying, "Take them. Your family has been a good supporter of my business. Take them, take them. I'm so happy to have met such a benefactor today. I just want to celebrate."

He then quietly gave the remaining few pastries to several stall owners in the vicinity.

He was afraid of attracting attention, so he could only deliver it quietly.

In the tofu pudding shop.

Mo Beichen walked into the shop and immediately saw Yun Qingluo sitting not far away. He quickly walked over to her.

"Luo Luo, why didn't you wait for me? Are you tired?" Mo Beichen sat down opposite Yun Qingluo and saw a bowl of tofu pudding in front of her.

"You like it?" Mo Beichen asked gently.

Yun Qingluo gave a soft snort, pretending to be angry, and turned her head away from him.

"You're so busy chatting with that beautiful woman, you don't even care about this old hag like me."

Mo Beichen looked at Yun Qingluo, whose pouting lips could practically hang an oil lamp on. He found it both novel and adorable.

"Is Luo Luo jealous?" Mo Beichen smiled as he placed the pastries on the table and opened them one by one.

Yun Qingluo's gaze was drawn over. Wow, it looks delicious.

But then she remembered that she was still pretending to be angry, and she kept her head down, refusing to look at Mo Beichen.

Mo Beichen reached out and straightened the spoon that Yun had dropped. "The tofu pudding won't taste good when it gets cold. Want to try some?"

Yun Qingluo didn't say anything, took the spoon and started eating the tofu pudding.

Since we had already eaten at the inn, we only ate a few bites and didn't want to eat anymore after trying something new.

Seeing Yun Qingluo put down her spoon, Mo Beichen asked in a deep voice, "Are you full?"

Yun Qingluo didn't want to pay attention to him, but seeing that he kept staring at her, she could only nod.

Mo Beichen took the spoon and began to eat heartily, while Yun Qingluo watched him eat expressionlessly.

Can't this straight man at least give an explanation?

Yun Qingluo finally couldn't hold back!

He took the initiative to ask, "What were you talking about with her just now?"

Mo Beichen gave Yun Qingluo a deep look, then lowered his head and finished eating the tofu pudding.

"I thought Luo Luo wouldn't ask me." Mo Beichen looked at Yun Qingluo with doting eyes.

The clouds are falling and the air is thick with tension; that scoundrel did it on purpose.

Seeing Yun Qingluo looking like a cat with its fur standing on end, Mo Beichen finally told her what had just happened.

After hearing this, Yun Qingluo couldn't help but laugh.

Xiao Yi burst into laughter, "Help! Why didn't you go and look? I really wanted to see that green tea b*tch's face, hahaha!"

"Someone like her dares to give you a defiant look? What a slap in the face!"

Yun Qingluo pursed her lips and asked Mo Beichen, "You mean, she looks a lot like Yun Yiyi?"

Mo Beichen nodded, "Yeah, just as annoying, so noisy."

Yun Qingluo was slightly surprised. This person actually knew how to appraise tea?

Yun Qingluo looked at the pastries in front of her, her gaze falling on the mung bean cake.
