Chapter 479 Xuanshengtian

The further Yun Qingluo and her group went, the more surprised they became.

The environment here is truly a paradise on earth; they feel as if they are in a fairyland.

After walking for a while, they vaguely heard laughter, and Yun Qingluo was overjoyed.

"It's Master's laughter!"

Yun Qingluo glanced at Mo Beichen, then ran towards the source of the sound.

Passing through the woods, they saw a pavilion not far away. Inside the pavilion sat Shadow, dressed in white, along with another white-haired person.

Yun Qingluo was puzzled and turned to look at Mo Beichen, who was following closely behind.

Mo Beichen nodded, "We'll know once we go and see. Don't worry."

A strange feeling flashed through Yun Qingluo's mind; he actually understood what she was thinking.

Yes, Yun Qingluo was worried that those things in the distance were all fake.

Having learned her lesson from the previous encounter with the Enchantress, she now becomes suspicious of anyone who reappears after leaving the group, and she has even been secretly observing the bodyguards for a long time.

Mo Beichen walked ahead of Yun Qingluo, gesturing for her to follow.

Upon arriving at the pavilion, I discovered that they were indeed dressed in white.

"Oh my, I was just talking about my disciple, and here he is." Bai Yi and the others had changed into clean clothes. Bai Yi was holding a chess piece in his hand, smiling as he looked at Yun Qingluo.

"Master, Uncle-Master, what are you doing here? I thought you were on the beach outside the island, I've been looking for you for a long time." Yun Qingluo was a little annoyed to see the white-robed man smiling so brightly.

I was worried about this old man, but he's doing well here enjoying himself.

The man in white smiled and glanced at Yun Qingluo, then looked at the old man opposite him. "Old friend, look, this is my disciple, Yun Qingluo, and next to her is her husband, Mo Beichen. Luoluo, don't be rude, this is Xuan..."

Before Bai Yi could finish speaking, Xuan Shengtian interrupted him, "Hey, no need to be so polite. That kid's guest is my guest too. No need to be so formal. Just call me Elder Xuan."

Yun Qingluo and Mo Beichen then looked at the old man sitting to the side, who had an elegant and graceful appearance. Although he had a full head of white hair, he was full of energy and did not look like an old man at all.

Yun Qingluo and Mo Beichen exchanged a glance, both seeing something extraordinary in each other's eyes. They couldn't sense the old man's inner strength at all. They could barely even feel his breathing.

They certainly didn't think Elder Xuan was an ordinary person, and judging from his tone, he seemed to be very familiar with Xuan Ming.

The only people they can now call honored guests are Xuanming's side.

After all, the other continents wished they could kill him and then use Yun Qingluo as medicine.

Yun Qingluo and Mo Beichen thought of Xuan Ming and relaxed a bit, at least that guy wouldn't be an enemy for the time being.

So the two of them respectfully greeted Elder Xuan.

Master Xuan invited the two to sit down, clapped his hands, and then two young servants came over from another place carrying tea.

The place where they appeared was blocked by an artificial hill, but behind the artificial hill was a courtyard, which was probably the residence of Elder Xuan.

Yun Qingluo concealed the shock in her eyes. The two children were also not breathing and their faces were pale.

She panicked for a moment—had she encountered a ghost?

But seeing her master, uncle, and Elder Xuan chatting happily, she dared not say anything out of turn.

As she was making wild guesses, Mo Beichen took her hand from under the table.

Yun Qingluo felt the warmth from her palm, which calmed her restless heart. She smiled softly at Mo Beichen.

The old man smiled and said, "It's true that no outsiders have come here for many years. I'm so happy that you've come today. I haven't seen any strangers in a long time."

Upon hearing this, the man in white asked in surprise, "Brother, you've never left this island?"

Elder Xuan sighed, "I was seriously injured and was swept to this island by the current. I was rescued by my master and have been staying here ever since."

The woman in white was a little embarrassed. "I'm sorry for bringing up your sad story."

Old Master Xuan waved his hand, "Oh, what's the big deal? I've already come to terms with it. It's good that he can go out and see the world."

The group of people were shocked upon hearing this and exclaimed in unison, "What? He's not dead?"

Elder Xuan glanced at the group of people with a puzzled look, then looked at the man in white before realizing what was happening. He burst into laughter, "So that's why this man in white suddenly apologized. You all thought he was dead."

"No, no, he lived longer than me. It's just that my master was born on this island and never left," Elder Xuan explained.

Mo Beichen had been observing his surroundings. Upon hearing the white-robed man's words, he spoke in a deep voice, "The island-guarding immortal?"

Upon hearing this, Elder Xuan glanced at Mo Beichen in surprise, seemingly not expecting him to know.

"How did you know?" Yun Qingluo was also somewhat surprised. She and Mo Beichen had always been together, so how could he know about this?

Upon hearing this, Mo Beichen began to explain, "Back then, I traveled quite far and came to a fishing village. There I heard a legend that there was an island overseas, and on the island lived immortals who could live long lives, but could never leave the island. They were called the Island Guardians. However, the legend is indeed unreliable. After all, it seems that Elder Xuan's master left the island."

Elder Xuan narrowed his eyes and nodded approvingly, "The younger generation is truly formidable. I suppose it was the fishing village when Master landed. That must have been many years ago."

Then, Elder Xuan recounted the whole story in detail.

“Indeed, the island-guarding immortal cannot leave the island, but if he encounters a destined person to inherit his legacy, he can leave, and I am that destined person.”

Elder Xuan looked at Mo Beichen mysteriously, "I noticed you were looking around earlier, young man. Did you discover something?"
