Ouyang Bin immediately understood Xuan Wei's thoughts, but still poured himself a cup of tea.
He took a small sip, and then, under Xuan Wei's slightly anxious gaze, slowly spoke:
"These are all photos of Ling Mo and Zhan Hanjue together. Let me tell you the truth, she is Zhan Hanjue's real daughter. As for you, you're nothing but a cheap imitation, understand?"
"No...this is impossible! The results of the paternity test can never be false."
Xuanwei shook her head, clearly unwilling to believe this cruel truth.
Ouyang Bin, however, completely disregarded her feelings and said coldly, word by word:
"I can tell you with certainty that the paternity test results are indeed fake, but I cannot tell you how they were faked at this time."
"Mr. Ouyang, aren't you obviously trying to fool me? If the test results are fake, why can't you explain how they were forged?"
“Idiot. I was just worried that Zhan Hanjue used a lie detector and other interrogation tools on you, and that you might accidentally let something slip,” Ouyang Bin said impatiently.
Hearing Ouyang Bin say this, Xuan Wei immediately believed most of it and wisely kept quiet.

"You're being far too naive. It's not that he has nowhere else to go; he just wants to make her happy. Although he has never publicly acknowledged his father-daughter relationship with Ling Mo in front of the media, blood ties are ingrained in one's bones. Even with the paternity test results in front of him, his heart still uncontrollably leans towards her."
Upon hearing Ouyang Bin's explanation, Xuan Wei's good mood instantly plummeted.
After hesitating for a long while, he finally spoke up indignantly:
Why are you telling me all this?
From the very beginning, she was unwilling to become a pawn in Ling Yunlong and Ouyang Bin's efforts to control Zhan Hanjue.
However, the two of them kept tempting her with their noble status as the true daughter of the Zhan family, causing her greed to grow wildly and uncontrollably until it reached the point where it was no longer under her control.
Just as Ouyang Bin was about to speak, a child's innocent voice suddenly came from outside the door:
"Brother Yun Que, I know you're behind the door, come out quickly!"
Upon hearing the sound, Ouyang Bin and Xuan Wei immediately became alert.
Xuanwei strode towards the girl with pigtails peeking in from the doorway, half-squatted down, forced a smile, and asked:
"Xiaoxue, what did you just say?"
"Sister Xuanwei, have you seen Brother Yunque? He was playing hide-and-seek with us. I clearly saw him running this way, but I couldn't find him anywhere," the girl called Xiaoxue answered in detail.
Who is Yun Que?
A murderous glint flashed in Ouyang Bin's eyes as he asked in a cold voice.
Xiaoxue seemed intimidated by Ouyang Bin's terrifying gaze, and took several steps back, stammering:
"I...I don't know."
Meanwhile, Fu Yunque, who was covering his mouth and nose and hiding in the next room, was already sweating profusely.
Realizing he had overheard something he shouldn't have, he should have walked away.
But since it concerned Ling Mo, he couldn't just stand by and do nothing, so he hid outside the door and eavesdropped for a while.
Unexpectedly, Xiaoxue, that mischievous child, immediately betrayed him.
If Ouyang Bin and Xuan Wei were to find out that he had overheard their conversation, he would likely lose his life.
Xuan Wei clearly realized the seriousness of the situation. She slowly stood up, her face turning cold, and whispered to Zhan Hanjue:
"Xiaoxue is referring to Dr. Fu Yunque, a cardiovascular and cerebrovascular specialist at Renhe Hospital."
"Is that the doctor who trended on Weibo along with Ling Mo?"
Ouyang Bin's expression became even more unpleasant.
Just as he was about to go next door to see if Fu Yunque was intentionally hiding, a childish male voice suddenly rang out from the orphanage entrance at the critical moment:
"Xiaoxue, come here quickly! Brother Yunque's husky is tearing down the guard booth. Brother Yunque must be hiding inside the guard booth."
"Um!"
