"Mingming...open the door for me!"
Ling Mo knocked on the door while pressing his cheek against the cold door, muttering incoherently.
The effects of the alcohol hit me in the blink of an eye.
Sure enough, after downing most of a bottle of red wine, she, who is known as "one-glass-and-you-can't-get-out-of-a-bottle," had completely blacked out.
"Mingming???"
Hearing the calls echoing outside the bedroom door, Qin Beiming couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Honestly, this girl has way too many tricks up her sleeve.
After preparing a table full of kidney-tonifying and energy-boosting dishes, they started using the same old trick of knocking on the door in the middle of the night.
Qin Beiming casually wiped away the gushing blood from his nose. He had just stepped out of the bathroom and hadn't even had time to dry the water droplets off his body before impatiently opening the door.
Ling Mo, who was leaning most of his weight against the door, was not aware of what was happening and, due to inertia, leaned forward and stumbled several steps into the doorway.
Fortunately, she reacted very quickly and regained her footing in the blink of an eye.
After standing still, she paused for a moment, then slowly raised her eyes, looking up inch by inch from the knot haphazardly tied at the waist of Qin Beiming's gray-blue bathrobe.
At the same time, Qin Beiming also stared intently at Ling Mo, whose face was flushed and whose eyes were slightly dazed.
Sometimes, he even doubted whether his so-called love at first sight really started with physical appearance.
After all, Ling Mo's face is enough to drive the entire entertainment industry crazy.
Looking further down, she was wearing a pure white fleece nightgown, which looked somewhat fluffy and completely covered her originally hot curves.
But for some reason, even when he looked at her, who was as cute and innocent as a little white rabbit, he still couldn't help but have the thought of devouring her.
Once the idea took hold, his body became like dry tinder that had been set ablaze, and he could no longer control it.
He swallowed nervously, quickly turning his back to the world, trying to conceal his moment of intense emotion.
However, the moment his deep, husky voice opened, it was like a willow branch brushing against shimmering autumn waves, sending shivers down one's spine, leaving one wanting to speak but holding back:
"Why aren't you asleep in the middle of the night?"
Ling Mo swayed slightly, took small steps, and walked around to him. She just grinned and pointed to the bright red mark on his nose, asking softly:
"Mingming... why are you bleeding from your nose?"
"It's alright."
Qin Beiming felt that having a little nosebleed was a mild punishment.
How can the body possibly handle eating a whole table of nourishing dishes at once?
Sure enough, he had already been taking a cold shower in the bathroom for more than half an hour, but his body temperature was still only increasing.
"Mingming, I can't sleep."
Ling Mo was getting tired of standing, so he scurried into bed, leaving only his bright eyes sticking out. "Mingming, would you mind if I went to visit someone for a bit?"
Qin Beiming's deep eyes settled on her rosy cheeks, and even though his mind was wandering, he maintained his composure.
"Sit quietly for a while. If you get sleepy, you can go to sleep. I'm going to take a shower and I'll be right back."
"I'll leave it all to fate."
Ling Mo huddled under the covers, a hint of cunning gleaming in his bright eyes.
However, no sooner had Qin Beiming locked the bathroom door than Ling Mo followed him, took out a hair clip from her pocket, and gently hooked it into the lock, thus prying the door open.
Upon hearing the noise, Qin Beiming's body trembled, and for a moment he didn't know where to cover himself.
"MoMo...you can even pick doors??"
Qin Beiming glanced at Ling Mo, who was standing dumbfounded in the doorway, her figure clearly swaying precariously. Without thinking, he took three steps forward and covered her eyelids with one hand. "Go out first? I'll change my clothes."
"I'm not leaving. I haven't even met anyone yet. I absolutely can't leave."
Ling Mo shook his head. Although he was quite drunk, he could still speak fluently.
"Cheating?"
Qin Beiming's pupils dilated; he hadn't expected this girl to be so fierce.
He actually broke the door lock and went straight into the bathroom to cheat on her.
"I'll steal you~"
Ling Mo nodded heavily, then instantly tiptoed and gave him a light, fleeting kiss on the lips.
The faint scent of alcohol mixed with her delicate fragrance momentarily overwhelmed his senses, leaving him in a state of temporary mental fog.
After a moment, he realized that he had been teased by the little girl again.
Qin Beiming pursed his lips, realizing that if this continued, he would definitely lose control. He had no choice but to remove his hand from her eyelids and carry her out of the bedroom. "Listen, go back to your room and sleep right away."
"I feel dizzy and uncomfortable, and it's scary to sleep alone."
Ling Mo stubbornly shook her head. Seeing that there were still distinct water droplets on his body, she hurriedly took off her pajamas, tiptoed, and draped them over his shoulders, her thin red lips muttering in a mystical tone:
"Mingming, it's getting cold, why don't you wear clothes? Here are all my clothes, remember to be my good girl from now on."
"Are you drunk?"
Qin Beiming realized that Ling Mo was quite drunk, and he was not comfortable leaving her outside the door for the time being.
Having exhausted all other options, he had no choice but to lead her into the bedroom once again.
Seeing her thin clothing, he was about to put the pajamas draped over her shoulders on her shoulders, but she beat him to it, snuggling into his arms and naturally slipping her hands into the sleeves of the pajamas, forming a straight line that pressed tightly against him.
"Sorry, did the smell bother you? I've never stolen from anyone before in my life, so I was a little scared and that's why I thought of drinking to bolster my courage."
