"Sister Mo! Sister Mo, you must hold on."
Cheng Cheng followed closely behind Qin Beiming, asking with concern:
"Medical Assistant Qin, why did Ling Mo suddenly faint?"
"..."
Qin Beiming's thin lips were pressed tightly together. He noticed that Ling Mo's body was trembling slightly, and his face showed even more anxiety.
"Old Shi! Come quick and take a look!"
Upon hearing this, Smith dared not delay and hurriedly instructed Qin Beiming to place Ling Moping on the small bed in the lounge.
After a series of routine checks, he habitually stroked his beard, let out a soft "Eh," and said with particular confusion:
"Strange, all her bodily functions are fine, so why did she suddenly faint?"
"Could it be food poisoning?"
Gu Tingbai handed over the half-finished iced soda that Ling Mo had been drinking, and asked cautiously:
"Old Shi, check if there's anything unclean in the soda. It seems like Sister Mo fainted after drinking it."
Mr. Smith took the iced soda from Gu Tingbai and muttered, "The soda should be fine. However, if you drink too much iced water during your period, there is a chance that you will experience adverse reactions such as abdominal pain, palpitations, or even fainting."
"Ah! How could I forget that Sister Mo is also a girl?"
Gu Tingbai slapped his forehead, looking extremely remorseful. He glanced at Qin Beiming's dark face and quickly buried his head in his chest, saying, "Third Brother, I really didn't mean it. I thought Sister Mo was so tough that drinking some ice water wouldn't be a problem."
"From now on, stay away from her."
Qin Beiming rarely got this angry. Although he was trying his best to control his emotions, his words still carried a chilling aura.
Gu Tingbai shivered involuntarily and murmured in a low voice:
"I'm sorry, I didn't know Sister Mo wasn't feeling well."
Cheng Cheng watched as the unruly Gu Tingbai became as docile as a little rabbit in front of Qin Beiming, and found it increasingly unbelievable.
Seeing the somewhat awkward atmosphere between them, Te Te pointed to the bloodstains on Qin Beiming's white coat and subtly changed the subject:
"Medical Assistant Qin, your clothes..."
Upon hearing this, Gu Tingbai looked in the direction Cheng Cheng was pointing.
Seeing the still-wet bloodstains on his white coat, Gu Tingbai turned pale with fright, fearing that Qin Beiming's mysophobia might flare up and he might suddenly go berserk and tear Ling Mo apart. She quickly stood in front of the small bed, timidly saying:
"Third Brother, why don't you go change your clothes first? I'll keep watch here."
"Get out of the way."
Qin Beiming glanced down at the bloodstains on his white coat, but didn't react excessively.
In the past, he would have immediately changed out of his white coat and repeatedly washed the areas that had come into contact with other people's blood.
But now, he had no interest in changing his clothes at all, and only asked Mr. Smith in a deep voice:
Is her condition serious?
"A good night's sleep will do the trick. Remember not to eat raw, cold, or spicy foods. If the pain persists, you can also take some traditional Chinese medicine."
Mr. Smith also noticed the bloodstains on Qin Beiming's white coat, and was quite surprised to see that he did not react excessively.
Doesn't this guy have OCD?
Could it be that the power of love is so great that he can ignore things that he would never have tolerated in the past?
"Old Qin, do you need to take your medicine?" Mr. Smith asked tentatively, afraid that Qin Beiming's emotions might suddenly spiral out of control again.
"No need. Go out and get her the medicine."
After Qin Beiming finished speaking, he kicked Smith and the others out of the lounge and then locked the door.
Gu Tingbai was surprised by Qin Beiming's actions and began to worry that Qin Beiming would "ruthlessly harm" Ling Mo.
Left with no other choice, he had to steel himself, muster his courage, and frantically knock on the door:
"Third Brother, why are you locking the door in broad daylight? Are you going to change Sister Mo's clothes yourself? Men and women shouldn't touch each other like that, please don't do anything impulsive..."
"Medical Assistant Qin, impulsiveness is the devil. Ling Mo is still sick, calm down and don't do anything rash."
Cheng Cheng had already noticed that Qin Beiming's gaze towards Ling Mo was a bit off. Hearing Gu Tingbai's shout, he instantly became alert and started banging on the door.
"roll."
Qin Beiming grew increasingly irritable.
Seeing Ling Mo's face grow paler and paler, he felt a nagging, unbearable pain in his heart, as if ants were gnawing at it.
The thought of Gu Tingbai fawningly handing Ling Mo an iced soda made him want to hang the brat up and beat him up.
After waiting for a while, Ling Mo still did not wake up, and Qin Beiming's emotions, which had calmed down slightly, began to fluctuate again.
He crossed his arms and paced anxiously back and forth in front of the crib, wanting to do something but not knowing what to do.
He only snapped out of his daze when he inadvertently caught a glimpse of the red plum blossoms on the bed sheet.
But after regaining his senses, Qin Beiming felt even more confused.
What is he supposed to do about the girl's family affairs?
Logically, under these circumstances, he should have gone out himself to buy her sanitary napkins.
The problem is, how should he start the conversation when he gets to the store?
The thought of that scene is incredibly awkward.
After much deliberation, he finally entrusted this arduous task to Chen Guo...
After receiving the call, Chen Guo, unlike Qin Beiming who was embarrassed for a long time even when issuing a task, readily accepted the task.
He is exceptionally efficient.
In less than half an hour, I bought almost every type of sanitary napkin on the market.
After rushing to the school clinic, Chen Guo, still breathless, began to talk incessantly to Qin Beiming about the materials, designs, reputations, and so on of various brands of sanitary napkins.
