Chapter 106 It's Snowing

Chapter 106 It's Snowing

Heavy snow is coming.

It has been two months since the last National Day.

Lu Chi's university life gradually got back on track.

The confusion and anxiety of entering university have long since dissipated, replaced by adaptation and love for the new life.

Although his university life was rich and colorful, he never forgot Yu Qing's advice and took the initiative to join the school's volunteer club, using his spare time to participate in various public welfare activities and making many friends.

In his studies, Lu Chi demonstrated remarkable talent. He possessed an extraordinary ability to understand complex medical theories and clinical cases, and he repeatedly offered unique insights in academic discussions, earning high praise from his teachers.

Geniuses are always like that; they shine wherever they are.

His hard work and talent allowed him to quickly distinguish himself in the medical field.

In terms of daily life, his roommates also took good care of him and did not ostracize him because he was not talkative. They would take him with them every time they went to the cafeteria to eat.

Lu Chi gradually loosened up a bit, at least not as silent as when he first arrived. He would occasionally chime in on their conversations, but his comments were always insightful and to the point. As a result, he earned a nickname in the dormitory: the Conversation Terminator.

He gets up promptly at eight o'clock every morning.

The library became his most frequented place, and also Lu Chi's favorite place.

The quiet place allowed him to think more clearly.

Lu Chi walked along the tree-lined path on campus wearing a down jacket. People around him were complaining about having to get up at 8 a.m. on such a cold day, and then excitedly discussing where they were going to go to play since it was going to snow soon.

Lu Chi thought for a moment, then took out his phone and sent Yu Qing a message: "It looks like it's going to snow."

Both were busy with their studies and rarely saw each other, but Lu Chi always sent Yu Qing messages on time to share snippets of his life.

The same goes for Yu Qing.

When Lu Chi arrived at the library, he finally received Yu Qing's reply: "It seems so. During evening self-study yesterday, someone said it was snowing, and everyone ran out to see, but it turned out to be just a little rain."

"I've never seen snow in Jiangcheng." Lu Chi remembered that it snowed once when he was a child, but he had just gone on a trip with his parents and the snow had melted by the time they came back. He didn't remember much after that, since it rarely snows in southern cities.

“Then we must take a good look this time,” Yu Qing replied.

Looking at his phone screen, Lu Chi felt a warm feeling well up inside him.

He put down his phone, looked out the library window at the gray sky, where tree branches swayed gently in the cold wind, as if they too were anticipating the long-awaited snow.

The library was already quite crowded and quiet, with only the occasional sound of pages turning.

Lu Chi found a corner to sit down, opened his book, and began his day of studying.

Time flew by. Lu Chi spent the entire morning in the library, attended three classes in the afternoon, and then returned to the library.

He sat there for several more hours until the librarian's voice brought him back to reality: "Students, the library is closing soon. Please pack your things and leave."

Lu Chi checked the time; it was already 10 p.m.

He packed his schoolbag, got up, and left.

As Lu Chi stepped out of the library, he noticed that snowflakes had begun to fall from the sky.

The snowflakes weren't big, but they fell one by one to the ground, quickly accumulating into a thin layer.

He reached out and caught a snowflake, watching it slowly melt in his palm.

A smile finally appeared on Lu Chi's face.

He took a deep breath, took out his phone, took a picture of Yu Qing, and sent it to her: "It really snowed, so beautiful."

Yu Qing quickly replied: "Yes, I wonder how long this snow will last."

Lu Chi thought for a moment, then typed a few more words: "Let's build a snowman together when the snow stops."

"Please, I'm not a child anymore, it's cold." Yu Qing decisively refused.

Lu Chi stared at the screen for a long time without replying. After a while, he continued typing: "Where are the gloves I bought for you?"

"I'm wearing it!"

"What did Auntie say?"

"The gloves are very warm, she likes them very much, and invites you to come over for dinner."

Lu Chi felt much better after seeing the reply.

Back in the dorm, my roommates were all busy playing games.

Upon seeing the snow in Lu Chi's hair, the group exclaimed in surprise, "Did it snow?"

"Yes, it's snowing." Lu Chi nodded.

"Great! Let's have a snowball fight together after the snow stops, okay?"

Everyone agreed that anything involving fighting and killing is something ingrained in a boy's genes, and no one dislikes it.

Just then, someone suddenly remembered something and asked, "By the way, Lu Chi, why don't you send a message to Brother Qing and ask him to come over? It's more fun with more people."

It has been three months since I last saw Yu Qing.

Everyone had a very good first impression of Yu Qing and hoped to see him again, since who wouldn't want to be friends with a tycoon!

Lu Chi thought for a moment and said, "I've already told him."

He knew that Yu Qing wouldn't come.

High school is much busier than college, and Yu Qing had no time to go out and have fun.

While his roommates chatted enthusiastically, Lu Chi lay quietly on his bed.

He looked at the snowflakes falling outside the window, and for some reason, he thought of Yu Qing.

The next morning.

Lu Chi was awakened by the noise outside. He sat up and saw that the branches of the trees outside the window were covered with thick snow, and the roadside fences were decorated with white snow like ice sculptures, which were unbelievably beautiful.

At that moment, a poem came to mind: "Suddenly, like a spring breeze overnight, thousands of pear trees bloom."

He saw a group of people chasing and playing on the playground in the distance, their laughter echoing everywhere.

Lu Chi wanted to call a few of his roommates to go out and see the snow, but he found that his roommates had already run out, leaving him alone in the dormitory.

He was lost in thought for a few seconds, then silently put on his clothes.

Just then, his phone rang.

As soon as the call connected, Yu Qing's lazy voice came through: "I'll give you three seconds to get to the balcony."

Lu Chi seemed to have thought of something. He almost rushed to the balcony and saw a large snowman piled up downstairs in the dormitory building. Yu Qing, wearing a thick cotton coat, was standing next to the snowman, looking at him with a grin.

Several of his roommates were also standing there, waving at him.

"Get down quickly, Lu Chi."
