Fang Qing was the gentlest person he had ever met.
The marriage certificate wasn't anything special. Fang Qing read it aloud word by word, feeling a sweet warmth in her heart.
"Is this one mine?"
"Yes, sign your names and put your fingerprints on them."
Zhao Shi'an wrote his name first, and Fang Qing took the brush and wrote her own name on it.
Fang Qing practiced her handwriting under Zhao Shi'an's guidance. At first glance, their handwriting looked somewhat similar, but Zhao Shi'an's handwriting had a sharper edge, while Fang Qing's handwriting appeared softer.
Zhao Shi'an pressed his handprint first, and Fang Qing pressed her handprint next to his.
The two people, one with one big hand and the other with one small hand, were tightly close together, just like they were at that moment.
Zhao Shi'an grasped Fang Qing's hand and pressed it against his chest.
"Feel my heartbeat."
Fang Qing felt it; it was exceptionally powerful.
Even though he had only written the marriage certificate, he felt as if he was about to marry Fang Qing.
“I’m very happy too.”
Fang Qing looked into Zhao Shi'an's bright eyes, her gaze slowly falling on his lips.
It was quiet outside. There had been no movement all day, but Fang Qing still glanced outside and, after confirming that no one was around, she tiptoed and gently kissed Zhao Shi'an.
She was very unfamiliar with taking the initiative, and her cheeks flushed.
She tried to step back from Zhao Shi'an, but he gently embraced her.
"Let me hug you."
Fang Qing didn't push him away.
Zhao Shi'an did indeed only hug her for a short while before letting go.
He handed the marriage certificate to Fang Qing.
"Keep this safe. I'll have someone take you home in a couple of days."
Fang Qing looked at her in surprise.
Zhao Shi'an actually took the initiative to suggest that she go back?
