Princess Min'er looked excited.
She took Fang Qing's hand.
“You are indeed extraordinary. No one has ever been able to summon divine fire before. This is also the first time I have knelt down to worship a sacred object at such close range.”
Fang Qing smiled.
She figured it must have been Xiaodou who persuaded the system and turned on some kind of switch.
But when she looked at the screen, she saw Xiaodou had just returned.
The system says it can't control this either... Hmm? What's going on?
Hehe, it's actually quite pretty.
It's not a system.
Could it be that they really are destined to have this divine fire?
Zhao Shi'an couldn't wait any longer and stepped forward with the relic in his hand.
The heat emitted by the divine fire was too great to approach. Zhao Shi'an stood three meters away from the crystal pit and threw the relic into it.
The relic was instantly engulfed by multicolored light.
Something exploded in the flames, and then Fang Qing smelled a fragrance in the air.
She looked at Zhao Shi'an, who had obviously smelled it too.
Just as Fang Qing was about to say something, something suddenly happened at Liuli Pit.
The multicolored light vanished, instantly transforming into a sacred gold.
The golden flames enveloped the divine fire, burning ever brighter. Fang Qing felt that even their current position couldn't withstand the temperature.
Princess Min'er clearly didn't know what was going on either, but the Holy Land wouldn't allow them to linger any longer, so she hurriedly urged them to head down the mountain.
They kept looking back as they walked.
The wildfire maintained its golden glow, turning the entire sky golden.
Auspicious clouds floated in this golden expanse, looking from afar like an immortal ascending to heaven.
Not only did they see it, but the people at the foot of the mountain saw it, and even the people inside the Tibetan capital city saw it.
The Tibetan king hurriedly climbed to the pavilion, looked in the direction of the sacred mountain with trembling hands, and then knelt down in devout worship.
They didn't know what had happened, but they couldn't help feeling awe at the phenomenon.
*
Fang Qing and the others descended the mountain, while Princess Min'er was still in a state of excitement.
"Do you know Fangzhu? In Tibet, anyone who has seen the divine fire will have good luck."
"I not only saw the divine fire, but I also saw the holy light. I am so lucky."
She kept talking about this the whole way.
Fang Qing and Zhao Shi'an remained silent the entire way.
To be honest, they were still somewhat dazed.
This was the first time they had ever seen such a strange phenomenon, and they couldn't even explain it.
Fang Zhu was also in shock, so she didn't hear what Princess Bian'er said.
"Fang Zhu, I'm talking to you, can't you hear me? We'll go back and ask my father to grant us a marriage..."
Fang Zhu finally frowned and looked at her.
"Are you ever going to stop? I've already told you I won't marry you."
"Why not? Am I not good-looking? Or do you look down on my family background?"
Fang Zhu ignored him and strode down the mountain.
Princess Min'er simply pursed her lips and quickly followed, seemingly unfazed.
"Let me tell you, the moment I saw the holy light, I made a wish, and that wish will definitely come true."
Fang Zhu still ignored her.
The two of them chased each other and soon walked quite a distance.
Fang Qing and Zhao Shi'an slowly descended the mountain behind them.
"I'll carry you on my back."
Zhao Shi'an walked up to Fang Qing and squatted down.
He noticed that Fang Qing was tired when they were going down the mountain, and he wanted to carry her on his back, but Fang Qing stopped him with her eyes.
At this moment, Zhao Shi'an was squatting in front of her, and there was no one else around, so Fang Qing lay on his back.
"With the relic gone, one of my worries has finally been lifted off my shoulders," Fang Qing said.
"I reckon we should be getting a letter from the capital by now."
Yes, the Emperor will definitely be angry when he finds out they came to Tibet to destroy the relics. As for what punishment they will be given, that depends on the Emperor's mood.
They descended the mountain and, sure enough, found the anxious Xiao Liu at the manor where they had changed clothes earlier.
"Master, Madam, news has come from the capital."
Seeing Xiao Liu's anxious face, Fang Qing knew it wasn't good news.
"explain."
"His Majesty has ordered you and your wife to remain in Yongzhou until the entire area of Yongzhou is cultivated with crops, at which point you may return to the capital."
Zhao Shi'an nodded calmly, and Fang Qing breathed a sigh of relief.
It's good that they weren't punished.
"Master, what do we do now?"
Now that the rebels have been quelled, rewards are being distributed in the capital, but the Emperor is letting his master stay in a place like Yongzhou to farm.
"What do you mean, what should we do? Didn't the Emperor say we should farm? Then let's farm!"
Xiao Liu looked anxiously at Fang Qing, hoping that Fang Qing could persuade Zhao Shi'an.
Fang Qing just smiled at him and went into the house to change her clothes first.
They boarded the carriage and returned to the Tibetan capital. Xiao Liu and the coachman sat outside and spoke to Fang Qing and Zhao Shi'an inside the carriage several times.
Zhao Shi'an finally had enough of him.
"Shut up, or you'll be sent back to the capital immediately."
Then Xiao Liu didn't dare to speak again along the way.
When the carriage entered the royal city, Fang Qing was surprised to find that people were giving them a warm welcome, making them feel like returning heroes.
When the carriage entered the palace, the Tibetan king himself came to greet them.
"Thanks for your hard work."
Zhao Shi'an and Fang Qing bowed to each other.
"Thanks to Lord Zhao, I have witnessed such pure holy light in my lifetime."
"The king's praise is undeserved; it is merely a coincidence."
"No, no, no, only a destined person can summon the divine fire, and that destined person is you. We in Tibet have never had anyone like you before. Perhaps you are destined to be with us. How about this, Lord Zhao, you stay in Tibet, and I can treat you as a holy envoy, to be worshipped by all people..."
