Chapter 244 The Story of Growing Up

Fang Qianqian felt that his smile was a bit strange. Then she looked at Sima You, and the creepy feeling on her back became even stronger.

"Greetings, gentlemen."

She greeted him politely yet distantly, then pulled Ya'er by the ear and led her through the moon gate.

"Oh, sister, have mercy! I know I was wrong, I'll never do it again!"

"You said that last time, I'd be a pig if I believed you again!"

As the siblings' voices faded into the distance, Fang Zhu sighed helplessly.

"Really, I'm sorry to have made you laugh."

"No, I just didn't expect that Qianqian is more lively than when she was little," Zhao Xizhi said.

“Sigh, she was sick when she first met you as a child, so how lively could she be? This girl has always had this personality since she was little, and Ya’er grew up with her and became the same way.”

Fang Zhu's helpless tone was tinged with doting affection.

"Stop standing here joking around, come inside."

Min'er reminded them to continue walking inside.

The atmosphere became more harmonious after what just happened.

They chatted for a while in the front hall about the people and things in the capital, and then Fang Zhu led them to their residence.

As soon as they entered the backyard, they could hear Fang Qianqian scolding Fang Ya'er from afar, accompanied by Fang Ya'er's crying.

"Stand still! Who gave you permission to move?"

"Cry, cry, cry, what else can you do besides cry?"

"Stop crying. Are you going to use tears to defeat the enemy on the battlefield?"

"Still arguing with me? Looks like you still don't know you're wrong. Keep standing there!"

Fang Zhu led Zhao Xizhi into the courtyard. Sima You looked around and, taking advantage of the fact that no one was paying attention, followed the sound.

Not far away was Fang Qianqian's courtyard. Sima You stood at the gate and took a clear look at the situation inside.

Fang Qianqian lay on a deck chair under the flowering tree, eating ice cream, while Fang Ya'er stood in the sun with her hands above her head, sobbing and opening and closing her mouth, cursing words like "tigress" and "she-devil".

Fang Qianqian seemed to hear her, picked up a grape from the table and threw it, hitting Fang Ya'er squarely on the head.

"What are you saying? Speak up so I can hear you."

Fang Ya'er sobbed and lowered her head, no longer daring to speak.

Sima You couldn't help but laugh when he saw how the siblings interacted.

Fang Qianqian suddenly looked over and met Sima You's gaze.

"Hi!"

Sima You leaned against the wall, waving to Fang Qianqian with what he considered to be very handsome.

To everyone's surprise, Fang Qianqian stiffened noticeably upon seeing him, then sat up, her gaze towards him not very friendly.

Sima You had already sensed that this young lady didn't seem to welcome him very much.

But he rarely met such an interesting girl, so he wanted to talk to her.

He walked into the courtyard carrying his sword.

Before she could even speak, Fang Qianqian cautiously hid behind the recliner.

"Don't come any closer!"
