"You, you actually cursed me!"
She looked around, then grabbed a large broom and started sweeping at the bean sprouts.
The bean sprout deftly dodged, and even managed to make a few sarcastic remarks to her.
"Da Shan and the others saw through your vicious nature and broke up with you. You deserve it!"
"You still dare to talk!"
Seeing that she couldn't catch up, Zhang threw down the broom, picked up a small stool, and smashed it against Fang Qing's back.
The small stool hit Fang Qing's leg, causing her to fall to the ground and her knee to hit the brick hard.
"You little bitch, let's see where you run now."
Zhang stepped forward and pinned Fang Qing to the ground.
"Bean sprouts."
Zhao hurried forward, but there was another figure who was even faster than him.
Zhao Shi'an pushed Zhang Shi aside, stood in front of Fang Qing, and glared at Zhang Shi with murderous intent.
At the same time, Fang Qing received a warning from Xiao Dou.
[The little villain is emotionally unstable, and his villainous value is trending upwards. Little master, please calm him down!]
Fang Qing's heart skipped a beat. In the dim light, she could vaguely see something reflective in Zhao Shi'an's sleeve.
"Brother, my knees hurt."
Fang Qing quickly grabbed his arm.
Zhao Shi'an looked at her, and the murderous intent in his eyes instantly vanished.
"Let me see."
As he spoke, he squatted down, pretending to examine Fang Qing's legs.
Zhang was pushed so hard she fell on her bottom, her face turning pale.
"You little bitch, you little bastard, I'm going to beat you to death today!"
“Auntie, you’re so old, fighting with children. Aren’t you afraid people will laugh at you?”
Fang Qing held Zhao Shi'an's hand tightly and stood up.
"We'll see later. I'll teach this wicked woman a lesson first. Brother, you hide behind me."
Zhao Shi'an pursed his lips in disapproval, but Fang Qing had already pulled him behind her.
Zhao Shi'an calmed the murderous intent in his chest and looked at Zhang Shi as if she were a dead object.
"Listen to what she's saying! She actually dares to lecture me!"
Zhang became even angrier, pushed Zhao aside, and demanded that Fang Qing be attacked.
“Zhang Zhaodi, I originally wanted to save you some face, but if you continue to make trouble, I don’t mind publicizing the bad things you’ve done.”
"Ridiculous, what evil have I done?"
"You should know better than anyone how my great-grandmother died ten years ago."
Zhang was stunned when Douya said that, and looked at Fang Qing in disbelief.
"What nonsense are you spouting? Your great-grandmother froze to death, what does that have to do with me?"
She was clearly flustered.
“My great-grandmother appeared to me in a dream, and she said she was…”
"Shut up! You're slandering me! If you tell anyone about this, I'll never forgive you!"
Fang Qing snorted coldly.
“I didn’t want to say anything, but you keep bothering me like this. What if I get upset and start spreading it around? What do you think my great-grandfather, this filial son, will do to you?”
Zhang shivered.
"You're talking nonsense. I didn't do it. It wasn't me."
She was speaking incoherently and stumbled out of Fang Qing's house.
She ran all the way to the bamboo grove at the back, panting heavily.
She suddenly remembered the fortune teller from before, who said that bean sprouts were protected by a divine being. Could it be true?
The sky was overcast and cold when a gust of wind suddenly blew out of the bamboo forest, and Zhang's legs went weak instantly.
"You old hag, you can't come back to me. You deserve it. Who told you to always go against me? You deserve to die."
She was trembling with fear, but kept muttering curses under her breath.
Just as she was about to run home, a figure suddenly appeared in front of her.
Zhang was so frightened that her back went cold. She opened her mouth to scream for help, but the figure spoke first.
"What are you doing here so late at night, Auntie?"
Zhang recognized Fang Guangzong's voice.
He spent several months at home recovering from his leg injury.
He vaguely saw that the person who injured his leg that night was about the size of a child.
At that time, he had offended Douya, so he was convinced that Douya was the one who had attacked him.
During his recovery, he heard that Douya was selling corn seeds and growing amazing potatoes. Now he had built a new house and rented a piece of land in front of the mountain. How could he not be angry?
Whenever he had free time, he would wander around Douya's new house. He was going to teach that brat a lesson sooner or later.
"You're asking me what you're doing here again?"
Zhang calmed down.
"Auntie must have suffered a lot at Douya's hands lately."
Fang Guangzong's expression turned even uglier when the topic came up.
"What's it to you?"
“How can it not concern me? Now that my aunt and I both want to teach someone a lesson, I think we can help each other.”
As dusk fell, Zhang's suspicious gaze fell upon him.
Zhang didn't think much of Fang Guangzong, but the moment Fang Guangzong mentioned teaching Douya a lesson, she suddenly found him exceptionally pleasing to the eye.
Just as Zhang was about to have a good talk with Fang Guangzong about how to teach Douya a lesson, she saw a dark figure coming from afar and hurriedly headed home.
"It's getting late, I should go home now. Let's talk another day."
Feeling guilty, Zhang left quickly, and a moment later, the figure also came over.
"Who were you talking to just now?"
It was none other than Grandma Bean Sprout, Wang Cuihua.
"Nobody. What, you can't wait to ask me out as soon as my leg heals? Has no one been able to satisfy you lately?"
The old woman shoved him in an annoyed manner.
"After the family split up, I was left to manage everything inside and outside the house by myself. I was so exhausted that I was barely recognizable. I had no energy left to think about such things."
