For the next few days, Fang Xiaodong asked Fang Shigen to buy him potato chips.
At first, Xiaoshuan's wife didn't notice, but as time went on, she realized that the money in the house was missing.
At first, she thought her house had been burgled, but it was impossible for a thief to steal money penny by penny. Under her questioning, Fang Shigen confessed to stealing money to buy potato chips.

When Xiaoshuan's wife saw him like this, she slapped him on the head.
"Speak properly!"
Fang Shigen burst into tears.
"Yes, I stole it myself!"
Xiaoshuan's wife slapped Shigen again.
"You little bastard, didn't you just say it was Bean Sprout who instigated it? Raise your head!"
Fang Shigen cried even louder.
"Waaaaah, it's Fang Xiaodong. He made me buy it for him, and he said he'd hit me if I didn't."
Xiaoshuan's wife thought he was a good-for-nothing, so she kicked him to the ground.
"You good-for-nothing! You steal your mother's money just because he tells you to buy it? You just wait, I'll take you to his house to settle the score later."
As she spoke, Xiaoshuan's wife looked at Fang Qing.
"Although you didn't instigate my son to steal my money, you were the one who sold him the potato chips! Don't you even consider where a child like him would get the money? What's the difference between this and robbery!"
Fang Qing rolled her eyes speechlessly.
"Who says kids can't have money? Besides, I run a business. Do you expect me to check where the money comes from when someone buys something from me? You can't manage your own child and you're blaming me. If you insist on being unreasonable, then there's nothing I can do."
"I think you're the one being unreasonable. Give me back my money. If you don't, I'll never forgive your family."

But Xiaoshuan's wife was unwilling.
"Why should I only get half? Give me all the money! Not a single penny less!"
"I can refund all the money to you, but you have to return the potato chips that Shigen bought from my house first."
"He's already eaten it, how am I supposed to pay him back? How can you be so heartless? You even cheated a child out of his money. No wonder your grandma called you a little slut, you really are!"
Xiaoshuan's wife was pointing and whispering at Fang Qing, which Fang Daniu couldn't stand.
"It's just a few coins, why are you talking to my child like that? Here are five coins, take them and get out of my house right now, or I'll make you fight!"
“Your family is rich and doesn’t care about a few copper coins, but my family is different. My family needs to save money to build a house. If you don’t return all the money to me, I’m not leaving here today.”
She had a shameless look on her face.
