Chapter 9 Exploiting Freebies

Just as I was about to leave, I turned around and saw a figure moving.

Fang Qing thought it was a wild animal from the mountain that had run down, and at that moment Xiao Dou's notification sound rang out.

[Little master! The little villain is approaching you!]

Although it was clearly an AI, Fang Qing could hear the fear in its voice.

She looked over there and saw that it was indeed Zhao Shi'an, and he was also looking in her direction.

At this moment, he was carrying a plump pheasant that was already dead.

That chicken weighed at least five pounds, and he had some difficulty carrying it.

Fang Qing made a swallowing motion and mustered her courage to greet him.

"Zhao Shi'an, where have you been so late?"

Zhao Shi'an stopped and didn't say anything, but looked in this direction.

Not being close enough for Fang Qing to see the expression in his eyes, she lifted her foot and walked towards him.

"Did you catch this chicken? You're really amazing."

Zhao Shi'an glanced at the empty space behind her.

"What are you doing?"

“I’m clearing land. Look, that’s the land I cleared.”

Instantly, Zhao Shi'an looked at her as if she were a fool.

Who would believe that a six-year-old child could clear land?

Fang Qing didn't see the deeper meaning in his eyes and continued talking.

“The village chief said that whoever develops this land owns it. This is my personal property. Even if my old lady kicks me out again, I will still have something to rely on.”

Fang Qing hesitated for a moment, then suddenly thought of the hidden mission.

The reason why villains are formed is because they have nothing better to do. Perhaps doing something themselves and feeling a sense of accomplishment can distract them, and their villain value will naturally decrease?

Thinking this, she spoke.

"Do you want to farm with me? I'll share a plot with you."

Zhao Shi's gaze at the fool paused slightly.

Why are you so good to me?

Or is he really a fool?

Fang Qing was also stunned.

Being so nice to you is obviously just a way to get something for nothing and survive.

"You're my friend."

All she could come up with was this flimsy excuse.

Little did she know that her words had stirred up a storm in Zhao Shi'an's heart.

In his previous life, he was betrayed by so-called "friends".

There is no such thing as true affection in this world; it's all just driven by self-interest.

Fang Qing only noticed that his eyes suddenly turned cold before he turned and left.

"Zhao Shi'an..."

[Note: The villain's villainous stats are fluctuating; it is recommended that you stay away!]

Fang Qing quickly shut her mouth and only breathed a sigh of relief after watching Zhao Shi'an disappear from sight.

Sure enough, it's not so easy to fleece the villains.
