Fang Qing pursed her lips tightly.
She didn't know why she had gotten involved in this struggle.
Gao Ren noticed her unease, and his smile deepened.
"Don't be afraid. I told you I wouldn't hurt you. Get ready, we'll be heading back to the capital tomorrow."
He was completely relaxed, having already made the decision for Fang Qing.
Fang Qing's resistance intensified.
"Weren't you going to arrest the people from Fengyulou? Why are you bringing me back to the capital?"

He wanted to lure the people from Fengyulou to the capital.
Fang Qing took a deep breath.
"What if the people from Fengyu Tower don't actually save me? Wouldn't your plan fall through?"
Gao Ren suddenly chuckled, looking quite pleased.
"The plan may have fallen through, but at least we were able to bring back a beauty like you, so the time wasn't wasted."
Fang Qing's expression could be described as one of disgust.
Gao Ren, however, was admiring Fang Qing as if she were a work of art, which made Fang Qing feel very bad.
"Why must a commander like yourself force someone to do something they don't want to do?"
Gao Ren stared straight at her, then suddenly reached out his hand to her.
Fang Qing was unable to resist as he grabbed her chin.
She struggled for a moment, which only resulted in Gao Ren moving even closer.
Fang Qing could only freeze, too afraid to move.
"Look at my face, do you think it's unreasonable to ask you to be with me?"
He gave a rather arrogant snort.
"Shouldn't you be secretly happy?"
Fang Qing was speechless.
"The Commander is indeed different from us ordinary people; even his skin is extraordinary."
