Chapter 111 The Second Day of the Lunar New Year

In previous years, Li Qiuju would go back to her family home early to cook lunch for them. After lunch, Zhao Xiaohua and Li Fuyou would go back to her parents' home.

Li Qiuju stayed at the Li family home to work until dark, then cooked dinner for Old Lady Li before returning to the Zhou family home.

But today, Zhao Xiaohua craned her neck and looked outside several times, but she still couldn't see Li Qiuju.

With lunchtime fast approaching, Zhao Xiaohua couldn't sit still any longer. She went inside and woke up her husband, who was still fast asleep.

"Your sister and the others haven't come back yet. When are we going to go back to my house?"

Yesterday, Zhao Xiaohua's mother called to say that she had prepared stewed big bones for her daughter and son-in-law's family and was waiting for them to come over for dinner.

Zhao Xiaohua didn't want Li Qiuju to delay her trip back to her parents' home.

She's counting on going back to her parents' home for a few days of fun during the Lunar New Year.

"Not here yet?" Li Fuyou picked up his watch from the table and looked at it; it was almost midnight.

"Whether he comes or not, go pack your things, I'll get up and change my clothes, and then we can get ready to leave."

Zhao Xiaohua then smiled and kissed her man on the cheek. Li Fuyou suddenly hugged her tightly, saying, "One kiss isn't enough."

As he spoke, he reached into her clothes. Although Zhao Xiaohua was only average-looking, she had a good figure and delicate skin. After so many years of marriage, Li Fuyou still adored her.

Moreover, Zhao Xiaohua knew how to use her advantages. She leaned against Li Fuyou's chest and breathed softly, "My mom said she wants us to stay at home for a few days. She wants to cook something nice for you, her son-in-law, since you're on holiday for the New Year."

With so many clothes to wear in winter, Li Fuyou struggled a bit to find the one he wanted. He subconsciously replied, "Okay, I'll tell Mom later. Pack a few more outfits. We can stay for three to five days before coming back."

His mother-in-law was an excellent cook, and Li Fuyou was always treated to delicious food and drinks whenever he visited. Li Fuyou was happy to stay there.

"Then you remember?" Zhao Xiaohua slightly raised her buttocks, pressing her body tightly against Li Fuyou.

Li Fuyou is not someone who can be easily provoked. Even in broad daylight, he gets carried away and becomes somewhat reckless.

He suddenly flipped over and pinned Zhao Xiaohua down. Zhao Xiaohua twisted her body, unwilling, "Fuyou, what time is it? Stop fooling around here. Mom will be angry again if she finds out."

"What's there to be angry about?" Li Fuyou muttered and leaned over Zhao Xiaohua.

Just then, Old Lady Li's voice rang out from outside, "Xiao Hua, Xiao Hua."

Zhao Xiaohua hurriedly pushed Li Fuyou away, saying, "Let go! Mom's calling me!"

No sooner had he finished speaking than the door creaked open.

Old Mrs. Li peeked out and saw her son and daughter-in-law rolling around on the bed. Her son's hand was still inside Li Xiaohua's clothes, and because the clothes were lifted up, a large expanse of white flesh was exposed.

"Mom, why didn't you knock!" Li Fuyou roared.

Grandma Li didn't dare to say a word, and awkwardly retreated to close the door.

Li Fuyou was so angry that his face turned pale. Zhao Xiaohua took the opportunity to push him away, get up and straighten her clothes, from an angle where Li Fuyou couldn't see her.

Zhao Xiaohua revealed a triumphant smile. "Old woman, you never knock before letting me in. Now you've been yelled at, haven't you?"

Indeed, Zhao Xiaohua knew this scene would happen when she heard her mother-in-law calling her, so she didn't respond even though she heard it, and waited for Old Lady Li to push the door open and come in.

Given Li Fuyou's temperament, he would probably give that old woman the cold shoulder, and even if she was unwilling, she wouldn't say anything when he mentioned going back to her parents' home for a few days.

It's her own fault for making her precious son angry.
