Chapter 165 Rogue Pervert

"Beautiful lady, watch your step."

The man placed his hand on Tang Jia's arm.

"It's okay, I can walk." Tang Jia shook off the man's hand without turning her head and was about to walk forward, but the man followed her like a leech.

He kept talking incessantly in Tang Jia's ear, "Miss, it's so late, where are you going? I'll take you there."

“It’s not safe for you to walk alone on the street. Here, let me help you.”

People were walking by from time to time, so the man didn't dare to go too far, but his hand had already reached for Tang Jia's shoulder. Tang Jia was annoyed and pushed him away.

When Zhou Peng came out of the restaurant, he saw a brightly dressed woman and a man arguing not far away. He only glanced at them and looked away, thinking that they were just a young couple having a fight.

Then the woman shouted, "Go away, don't follow me, are you crazy? I don't even know you."

Zhou Peng happened to be passing by them and subconsciously glanced to the side, only then did he see the woman's face clearly.

Although they had only met once two years ago, Tang Jia's outstanding appearance and fiery personality left a deep impression on Zhou Peng.

At that moment, the fair-faced man was trying hard to pull Tang Jia's hand, wanting to pull her into his arms.

Tang Jia couldn't shake off his hand, and it looked like his hand was about to wrap around her waist.

"Ouch." The man felt his hand being pulled away by a force, and he was pulled away from Tang Jia's side. The force was so strong that the man almost lost his balance when he was thrown away.

Zhou Peng ignored the man and quickly reached out to support Tang Jia. As soon as he got close, he smelled a strong smell of alcohol on Tang Jia.

"Tang Jia." Zhou Peng called out. Tang Jia's head was still foggy. She glanced at the person next to her, then lowered her head. It was unclear whether she heard him or not.

"Hey kid, what are you doing?" The man strode over angrily after regaining his footing. "Stay away from my girlfriend."

Zhou Peng glanced at Tang Jia, who was leaning against him, and then at the man who was half a head shorter than her.

Thinking to himself, how could someone as proud as Tang Jia choose someone who is not good enough for her?

"Bullshit, hooligan, pervert!" Tang Jia mumbled incoherently, and Zhou Peng immediately understood what was going on.

He looked at the man with a wary look in his eyes. "This is my friend. Stay away from her."

The man, not expecting the duck that was almost in his mouth to fly away, still asked unwillingly, "Kid, don't play dumb with me, you have your own plans too, don't you?"

Seeing the man's lewd expression, Zhou Peng clenched his fist without thinking. His expression didn't seem like he was just putting on an act. Just as his fist was about to land, the man chickened out and ran away.

Zhou Peng wanted to chase after her and teach her a lesson, but as soon as he lifted his leg, Tang Jia, who was leaning on him, lost her footing and almost fell straight to the ground.

Fortunately, Zhou Peng reacted quickly and caught her shoulder.

Tang Jia's consciousness was almost gone; her eyes were half-closed, and she looked completely bewildered.

"Did you come here alone?"

Where are your friends?

Who did you come out with?

Where do you live?

Zhou Peng asked several questions in a row, but Tang Jia couldn't even speak clearly.

What should we do?

Looking at Tang Jia leaning against his chest, Zhou Peng's heart pounded like a drum. It was the first time he had been so close to a woman other than his family, and he felt a little uncomfortable.

To avoid being mistaken for a hooligan, Zhou Peng tried to get Tang Jia to stand up straight, but it was all in vain. At that moment, Tang Jia just wanted to find a warm place to lie down and sleep.

After several attempts, Tang Jia still couldn't stand steadily, and Zhou Peng was helpless. He checked the time; it was almost ten o'clock.

He didn't know where Tang Jia lived, so he thought he'd just find a hotel for her to stay in for the night, since she looked like she couldn't even keep her eyes open.

Relying on his memory, Zhou Peng half-carried, half-supported Tang Jia as they walked towards the hotel ahead. He knew Tang Jia probably wouldn't be interested in those small hotels, so it took them about ten or twenty minutes to reach the entrance of a decent hotel.

When he got to the hotel entrance, he realized that his car was parked not far away. Why didn't he drive over?

That's really stupid.

As Zhou Peng chuckled to himself, he led his group into the hotel. The receptionist stood up and said, "Welcome."

At that moment, Zhou Peng was looking down to see if Tang Jia had taken a steady step, and he didn't notice the strange look in the eyes of the receptionist.

"Hello, could you please get me a private room?" Zhou Peng said politely to the receptionist.

"Okay, please show me your ID card." The receptionist's gaze swept over the two people in front of her.

Having worked as a hotel receptionist many times, she noticed that the woman in front of her was so drunk she could barely open her eyes, while the man's hand remained firmly on her body.

In most cases like this, the man sees the woman is drunk and either coaxes or tricks her into going to a hotel.

This man was dressed in a suit and tie, looking like a respectable person, but I never expected him to be such a beast.

The receptionist felt indignant for Tang Jiaming and was thinking about how to help her and prevent this beautiful girl from falling into the hands of bad people.

Zhou Peng rummaged through his pockets and then suddenly remembered that he had left his ID card in the car. He couldn't check into a hotel without his ID card.

The receptionist stared intently at him, clearly indicating that he wouldn't get away with it. His gaze then fell on Tang Jia, who was carrying a bag that probably contained her ID card.
