Chapter 73 Tenderness

“Ah Xu and the others are at Auntie’s house next door. I’ll call them over.”

"Sui Sui woke up early this morning and went to take a nap. I'll go wake her up."

Li Qiuju was about to get up and leave when Song Qi'an stopped her, saying, "Auntie, there's no need to call her, let Sui Sui sleep."

I guess Zhou Sui hasn't been idle much lately. She finally got a day off, so let's not bother her. It won't make a difference if she takes a break.

"It's alright, she's been sleeping for over an hour already. If she sleeps any longer, she won't be able to sleep tonight." Li Qiuju smiled as she walked outside. She knew that children had their own way of playing, and they couldn't understand the older generation.

Li Qiuju had just stepped out when she called out in the courtyard. A short while later, Song Qi'an saw the door of the room next door open.

A head with slightly messy hair, rubbing its eyes, popped out.

"Mom, what's wrong?" Zhou Sui asked, yawning and looking dazed.

"Xiao Song, Xin Feng and the others are here. Get up quickly, I'll go call A Xu over." Li Qiuju said and then left the courtyard.

Zhou Sui blinked hard, tilted her head slightly, and saw Song Qi'an standing at the entrance of the main room.

After several days of overcast skies, the weather finally cooperated today, and the sun came out.

Bathed in sunlight, Zhou Sui was surprised to find that Song Qi'an's smile was gentle, and the tenderness emanating from his eyes made her feel as if she were dreaming.

"Still haven't slept enough?" Before anyone knew it, Song Qi'an had already moved to a distance of one step from Zhou Sui.

He felt a pang of regret, wondering if he had arrived too early and disturbed Zhou Sui's sleep.

"That's enough, I've slept enough." That captivating voice rang in her ears, and Zhou Sui, no matter how sleepy she was, was now wide awake.

Her loose bun became even more disheveled as she shook her head, hanging precariously over her shoulder.

With a rosy blush on her cheeks from just waking up, Zhou Sui looked more charming and adorable than usual.

Song Qi'an's voice became even gentler, "Go inside and put on some clothes, don't catch a cold."

Just then, a cool breeze blew by, and Zhou Sui shivered. It was time to put on some clothes, otherwise she didn't know if she was hallucinating or just imagining things. Song Qi'an's gentleness just now was unbelievable to her.
