"How is he now?"
Before Zhou Sui could speak, Zhou Dayong asked his son.
Zhou Xu only found out about this when he went to the Zhao family to visit Zhao Xinfeng.
"I was at home when I got injured on my arm. But Brother Song said it didn't break any bones, it was just a superficial injury, and it will be fine in a few days."
As Zhou Xu spoke, a look of admiration appeared on his face. "Brother Song is really amazing. He took on four opponents by himself and his own side was still fine."
"Sis, do you think all people who have served in the military are this amazing?"
Zhou Sui thought that even a superficial injury was still an injury, and with four people on the other side, she wouldn't get much of a chance.
"Sis, what do you think about me joining the army? Brother Song is simply my role model." Zhou Xu's eyes sparkled when he mentioned Song Qi'an.
"You really do have a wild idea every day." Just two days ago you said you wanted to learn from Zhou Sui and become a businesswoman, and now, after only a few days, you want to join the army.
Zhou Sui glanced at him, watching him jump around, "You have to go to school tomorrow. Have you finished your homework? If you stay up all night to finish your homework, I won't let you off the hook."
At this time, Zhou Xu was good in every way, except that he still couldn't settle down.
"Go write it now," Zhou Xu muttered, then dashed back into the house.
Zhou Dayong was still saying to Li Qiuju, "If we don't know, that's fine. But now that we do know, shouldn't we go over and take a look?"
It was said that visiting Song Qi'an was not only out of concern, but also a gesture of goodwill.
"We should go and see. We didn't want to bother Wenxiu when she got divorced, but now that this has happened, and Qi'an has been eating at our place these past few days."
"When I come back tomorrow, I'll buy some milk or something, and I'll take Sui Sui with me."
"Huh?" Zhou Sui, who was called out, turned her head. "You can go then."
Li Qiuju smiled and said, "You get along well with Qi An. I'm not good with words, so you can say a few auspicious words to him later."
Zhou Sui pouted. Was she some kind of mascot or something? But she was genuinely worried about Song Qi'an's injuries, so she didn't refuse.
As they were talking, Grandma Zhou led Zhou Peng in from outside, with Zhou Peng carrying large bamboo baskets in both hands.
"Sui'er, the pomelo you wanted has been picked."
Zhou Sui quickly stood up, looking at the pomelos in the basket with a happy expression, "Thank you, Grandma."
"Oh, why bother talking about this with Grandma?" Old Mrs. Zhou now looks at Zhou Sui in a completely different light. She's leading the eldest son's family with a promising future and is even helping the second son's family find work.
"Mom, why did you pick all the pomelos from the tree?" Zhou Dayong looked at the bamboo basket and exclaimed, "Good heavens, you've picked half a tree's worth of pomelos!"
Grandma Zhou looked at Zhou Sui, "Sui'er wants this, she said she's making pomelo tea."
“It’s honey grapefruit tea,” Zhou Sui said, repeating the name in full.
"This is a new product that will be available in our store in a couple of days. The weather is getting colder, so it's time for hot drinks."
"What drink?" Zhou Dayong didn't quite understand.
"Dad, just think of it as drinking hot pomelo water." Zhou Sui said as she asked everyone to help move the pomelo to the well.
Zhou Peng was strong and didn't need anyone else's help; he carried it over by himself.
"Sui Sui, what's next?" Zhou Peng asked, turning around.
"Big brother, you rest, I'll take care of the rest." Zhou Sui noticed that there were still some leaves stuck to Zhou Peng's clothes, so she guessed that her older brother had helped pick the pomelos.
There was still a lot of work to be done, and she didn't want to trouble Zhou Peng.
"Just tell me, I'm free anyway, I'll help out with some work." Zhou Peng didn't move, he remained standing in the same spot.
Grandma Zhou chimed in, "Just let your older brother do it for you. He's free anyway. Your parents need to prepare the food for the shop. Let him do any heavy or tiring work."
"Then I'll have to trouble you, brother." Zhou Sui didn't refuse and went to the kitchen to get the salt.
"First, scrub the grapefruit peel with salt so it won't taste bitter when you stir-fry it later."
As Zhou Sui spoke, she sat down to demonstrate. Old Mrs. Zhou also came over with a small stool. Three people sat around the well, rubbing salt in one hand and pomelo in the other.
After rubbing two large baskets of pomelos, Zhou Sui felt her arms were sore, but embarrassingly, she hadn't rubbed even half as many as Zhou Peng.
"Big brother is too fast."
Zhou Peng chuckled sheepishly, "I have a strong grip."
After rinsing the clean grapefruit, it's time to peel it.
Zhou Peng still did this job. Without his help, Zhou Sui felt that she could only clean the pomelo at most today.
"Grandma, scrape off the white pith inside the grapefruit peel, just scrape it until the peel is completely clean."
Grandma Zhou picked up a knife and started scraping, saying, "Making this pomelo tea is quite particular."
"It's a bit fancy, but it tastes good." Zhou Sui was already feeling a bit hungry just from the fresh aroma of pomelo. She imagined how comforting it would be to have a warm cup of hot tea in winter.
With a swift movement of his hands, Zhou Peng peeled the pomelo peel off. He asked curiously, "So how do you plan to sell this pomelo tea?"
"I have two ideas at the moment. One is to find bottles, fill them with water, and sell them one bottle at a time."
"Another option is to make them into individual cans, so you can buy them and make as much as you want."
Zhou Sui glanced at the two busy people and added, "When we sell them, the three of us will split the profits."
As soon as he finished speaking, Grandma Zhou and Zhou Peng both looked up at him. "Why divide it? We don't even know how much money we can make yet. Just keep it for yourself."
Both families are currently running businesses, and they frequently bring food to Old Mrs. Zhou, sometimes even giving her money. In addition, she has her own savings, so she doesn't even think about Zhou Sui's little bit of money.
