"Why are you being so polite with me, Mr. Wang? It's just a few bottles, why are you talking about buying or not?"
"Here, these bottles are for you." With that, Zhou Sui picked out four bottles from inside, making a total of five bottles, including the one in Boss Wang's hand.
"Oh, sister, you're too kind. You're making me feel so embarrassed." Boss Wang said he felt bad, but he didn't put down the bottle in his hand, nor did he put the bottle he had picked up back.
"What's going on here? You all went through all that trouble for nothing, and you even kept a few bottles for yourselves. What a mess!"
Zhou Sui waved her hand dismissively, "As long as you like it, Mr. Wang, that's fine. It's understandable that you didn't think things through yesterday."
“We have plenty of this pomelo tea at home. If you finish it here, just have someone go to our shop and let us know, and we’ll send some over to you.”
"Then we won't bother you any longer, we'll head back now."
Mr. Wang's eyes narrowed into slits with a smile. "Young lady, you're so young, yet you're so poised."
"You wait here, I'll have the kitchen pack up some of our restaurant's signature dishes for you to try. See how our cooking is." Boss Wang turned and called to the back, "Xiao Zhang, Xiao Zhang."
"No, no, Mr. Wang, you're too kind."
Zhou Sui quickly waved her hand to refuse, "I don't need to tell you about the cooking skills in your shop. Everyone in the town knows they are top-notch."
This flattery made Boss Wang burst out laughing, and he was still trying his best to keep the man.
Zhou Sui said with feigned regret, "We'll come back another day to try it."
"I made plans with my family to have dinner at Piaoxiang Restaurant today."
Mr. Wang's laughter faltered for a moment, but Zhou Sui pretended not to notice. "Mr. Wang, we're leaving now."
As the two men were about to leave, Boss Wang came to his senses and looked at them thoughtfully. "Since you have your own plans, I won't insist that you stay."
Zhou Sui smiled back at him and walked out with Zhou Peng.
The moment she stepped out, the smile on Boss Zhou's face gradually faded, and his eyes remained fixed on the two people at the door until they crossed the road and disappeared from sight.
"Boss?" Zhang Xiaoqing called out timidly when she was summoned.
