God, this book was painful to write.
When I started writing the book, I just felt that I had finished writing the previous book and had taken a long break, so it was time to start writing. Then I decided on the characters of the male and female protagonists and the general background, and started writing.
I was very confused while writing and for a moment I didn't know what I was writing.
It's hard to describe this feeling. I just feel that the writing is very floating, without ground, and there is no central idea at all, and there is no ideological height that I want to pursue.
In this way, I wrote hundreds of thousands of words in a daze of doubt and persistence. At this time, I saw a comment from a reader, which can even be described as an epiphany.
I don't remember the exact words, but the general idea is that this book presents a very vivid picture of the palace.
At that time, I was stunned for a moment and then I suddenly realized it.
It doesn't have to be like the previous book, with an ascending core of "my destiny is in my own hands" and "free as the wind".
It would be great if I could write about all the love, hate, joy, anger, sorrow, life and death of everyone in the book in a complete and vivid way.
During the reading process, readers will find resonance and insights, or smile knowingly or have tears in their eyes.

Just like that, I got rid of the confusion and self-doubt and started writing again.
At the same time, problems arose.
It is really difficult to write about power struggles and human nature. I don’t have enough experience and input, so I almost had to write it with gritted teeth.
The previous book also covered a lot of this content, which caused me to rack my brains to find different breakthroughs in order to avoid repetition and plagiarism.
I was very tired. At one point I felt that I was too half-baked and my foundation was too shallow. I was worried that the content I presented would be crude and superficial, and that people would see through it at a glance.
This problem has not been solved yet, so I just keep writing until I finish it (holding my head).
I reflect and ponder. After finishing this book, I will definitely input and study hard! ! !

I feel that because of the blood feud in the previous life, the general tone is more serious and tragic.
Although Jiang Xun is a time traveler, because the era he lives in is quite special, he cannot use too modern words or be witty.
During the writing process, in order to fit the ancient background, I also consulted a lot of information, which was also a difficulty.
Sometimes when I’m writing and I’m excited, I have to stop and check whether a word or even a sentence could be said in the same way in ancient times.
