Xu Mingwan shook his head and explained, "I stopped working there in the second half of the year and went to help out at my third brother's place."
"So that's how it is!" Xu Tiantian said, then leaned closer to Xu Mingwan and whispered, "I overheard my mom and dad whispering that Xiaoxi might be pregnant?"
Xu Mingwan looked at her friend in surprise, "Really? How did your aunt know?"
She remembered that Xu Xiaoxi didn't have a boyfriend when she left, so how come she has one so quickly?
"My mom figured it out. She said it was from the way I walk or something. Anyway, I don't know anything about it. Don't tell anyone outside, or my mom will kill me," Xu Tiantian quickly reminded her. She didn't want to get yelled at by Xu Xiaoxi's mother!
"I definitely won't tell, I really didn't expect this!" Xu Mingwan felt like she was still a child! People her age here were already going to be mothers.
"Xiaoxi's new boyfriend is really great! He's the boss of the company where she works. He only has one older sister, so everything in the family will be theirs from now on," Xu Tiantian said with envy.
Xu Mingwan knew immediately that they were talking about the boss's wife's son, Qian Lida, and he never expected that Xu Xiaoxi would actually win him over.
