Chapter 1611 Making Sour Beans (I)
After the captain left, Lu Xiaoxiao went to the backyard to continue picking beans. She did not return to the yard until she had a full basket of beans. Then she went to the well to wash the beans.
After washing the beans, she spread them out on a winnowing basket to dry in the sun so that she could make pickled beans the next day.

"I've already eaten."
"You sit on the kang for a while. I'll go to the kitchen to get some bowls."

After Lu Xiaoxiao went to the kitchen and got a bowl, she took the tofu out of Liu Ermei's basket and put it in the bowl.
"Second sister, you brought too much tofu to my house." Lu Xiaoxiao said to Liu Ermei while looking at the full bowl of tofu.
"Not much. I only brought you less than a third."
"Don't send so much next time. I can't eat so much by myself. Just give me one or two pieces to try."

"By the way, wait a moment." After Lu Xiaoxiao finished speaking, she walked towards the kitchen. She remembered that there was still one chicken that Chen Guang sent yesterday that had not been cooked, so she planned to send half of it to Liu Ermei's family as a return gift for tofu.
