"Then you can stay in this room tonight. I clean the room regularly, so you can move in directly.
By the way, the quilt and mattress are in the cupboard, let’s make the bed now and you can sleep right away at night.”

Just after Lu Xiaoxiao helped Liu Ermei make the bed, she heard a knock on the door, so she said to Liu Ermei: "Ermei, I'll go open the door, you pack your luggage."

Lu Xiaoxiao came to the yard and opened the gate. She saw a man in post office clothes standing at her door, so she asked him, "Who are you looking for?"
"I'm here to deliver a letter. Are you Lu Xiaoxiao?"
"yes."
"Here's your letter." said the postman after handing the letter to Lu Xiaoxiao.
After Lu Xiaoxiao took the letter from the postman, she said thank you to him. After the postman left, she closed the door to the yard and walked into the house with the letter.
"Xiaoxiao, who was knocking on the door just now?" Liu Ermei asked Lu Xiaoxiao after coming out of the house.
"The messenger."
"oh."
"I'm going upstairs to read the mail. Could you please go to the kitchen and see what's on the menu?"
"good."
After Lu Xiaoxiao came to Zhang Xu's study upstairs, she closed the door, then carefully tore open the envelope, and took out the letter inside to read.
After a few minutes, she finished reading the letter, took a deep breath, put the letter back into the envelope, and put it back into the space.

"How about we have hot pot chicken tonight?"

"Okay, I'll go make hot pot chicken now. Can you peel some more garlic for me? The hot pot chicken tastes better with more garlic."
"No problem. I'm an expert at peeling garlic. I can peel a big bowl of it in no time."
