More than forty minutes later, Lu Xiaoxiao arrived at Zhang Aihua's grandmother's house. Looking at the two-bedroom, one-living room apartment filled with things, she understood why Zhang Aihua said she didn't like going to her grandmother's house.
"Grandma, I won't stay any longer. My aunt will definitely be unhappy when she comes back and sees me. And my mom said she will come to get the rice cakes the day after tomorrow, so you don't have to rush to make them today." Zhang Aihua said after drinking the sugar water that Wu Jinhua poured for her.
When Wu Jinhua heard what Zhang Aihua said, she did not try to keep her because she knew her eldest daughter-in-law's temper too well. So she took out fifty cents from her pocket and stuffed it into Zhang Aihua's hand, letting Zhang Aihua go buy candy by herself.
