Chapter 25 Arrival at the Production Brigade (I)
Lu Xiaoxiao was going to a production brigade. Wang Gang took her to the uncle in the blue cotton-padded jacket and started to chat with him. Lu Xiaoxiao listened silently by the side. It turned out that the uncle was the brigade leader's younger brother, Liu Jianguo. He was the one who drove the ox carts of the First Brigade. Besides him, his son Liu Aimin also came to pick up the educated youth this time.
Before Lu Xiaoxiao could continue listening, she saw people who were assigned to the same production team as her walking towards where she lived.
The people who came were the ones she had overheard on the train before. They were all wearing thick cotton-padded jackets, carrying things on their shoulders and in their hands. Uncle Liu saw them like this and didn't bother to continue chatting with Wang Gang. He hurried over to help them put their things on the ox cart.
Lu Xiaoxiao asked Wang Gang if it was far from the post office. He said it was not far, only two or three minutes away. Harbin is really too cold in winter. The road was particularly difficult to travel on snowy days, and even with a bullock cart, the speed was not very fast. It would normally take half an hour to reach the village by bullock cart, but it took an hour to get there.
After getting off the ox cart, Lu Xiaoxiao felt that her feet were no longer hers. Not only were her feet cold and stiff, but they also felt numb from time to time. It took her a while to recover before she could walk.
Uncle Liu first led them to the educated youth site. As they walked, he said that there were now eight people living in the educated youth site, five men and three women. The earliest batch had been here for almost five years.

Lu Xiaoxiao saw a man in his twenties coming out to greet them. She guessed that he was the big brother of this educated youth site.
The older brother introduced himself to them as Zhang Weiye. The other four men were named Xie Tian, Wang Dapeng, Liu Aixiu and Chen Qiping, and the three women were named Zhang Xiaoling, Guan Jinmei and Liu Xiaomei.
When Lu Xiaoxiao and the others saw that the other party had introduced someone, the six people on their side began to introduce themselves.
The first person to introduce himself was the person sitting opposite me on the train. He said, "My name is Liu Wei, and I'm from Jing City."
Then the man sitting next to him introduced himself: "My name is Wang Aidang, from Haishi."
When it was the girls' turn, the first one to introduce herself was the one who was with Wang Aidang. She only said in a low voice: "My name is Liu Zhenzhen and I'm from Haishi."
