Chapter 272: Involved in the Incident (VIII)
"Sister Xiaoxiao, is this the breakfast you brought for me and Brother Xu?" Dao Ye looked at the sandwich in Lu Xiaoxiao's hand with shining eyes.
"Of course, this is the sandwich I ordered in the restaurant just now. It tastes great, so I bought one each for you and Zhang Xu." Lu Xiaoxiao said as she handed the sandwiches in her hand to Dao Ye and Zhang Xu.
Dao Ye took the sandwich and took a bite, then immediately said to Lu Xiaoxiao: "Sister Xiaoxiao, this sandwich is really delicious."
"That's right." Zhang Xu also said.
"As long as you like it."
After Zhang Xu finished his sandwich, he looked at Lu Xiaoxiao and asked, "What did Stephen tell you?"
"Nothing, he just showed me the photos he took and invited me to take photos with him tomorrow."
"Do you agree?" Zhang Xu asked nervously.
"Of course he agreed. Didn't we agree to use me as a breakthrough point? If I didn't agree to take photos with him, how could we get useful information from him?"
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, Zhang Xu felt a lump in his chest, so he glanced at Lu Xiaoxiao and went back to his room.
Looking at Zhang Xu's leaving back, Lu Xiaoxiao snorted and said to Dao Ye: "Are you going to stay here or go back to the room you booked?"
"I'll go back to the room I booked." After saying this, Dao Ye left immediately.
After Lu Xiaoxiao glanced at the direction where Dao Ye left, she walked towards Zhang Xu's house.
"Knock, knock, knock... knock, knock, knock... open the door. I need your help."
After Lu Xiaoxiao walked into Zhang Xu's room, she took out two envelopes from her bag. Then she walked to the bed and poured all the photos in the envelopes onto the bed.
Lu Xiaoxiao took a look at the photos that filled half of the bed and started searching.
More than ten minutes later, Lu Xiaoxiao found a photo from a pile of photos. After taking a look at it, she handed it to Zhang Xu.
After Zhang Xu took the photo and took a look at it, his pupils suddenly constricted, and the veins on the back of his hand holding the photo bulged.
"Did you know who the traitor was a long time ago or did you find out after seeing the photo?" Lu Xiaoxiao asked Zhang Xu.
"I suspected it was him before."
"You have ever doubted him and yet you let him know so many things. Are you crazy?" Lu Xiaoxiao said angrily.
"I'm afraid of alerting the enemy. He's not the one who stole the blueprints."
"Then you let him continue to follow you, aren't you afraid that he will kill all of you?"
"The monkey was an accident. I will hand him over to the organization myself after I deal with Stephen."
Lu Xiaoxiao rolled her eyes after hearing Zhang Xu's words, and then she said, "Hurry up and deal with Stephen, the drama queen. You don't know that I really wanted to slap him to death when I saw him acting so much in the restaurant just now."
Zhang Xu curled his lips after hearing Lu Xiaoxiao's words, then looked at her playfully and said, "You played the role with him for so long in the restaurant this morning, it seems that your acting skills are also very good."
When Lu Xiaoxiao heard Zhang Xu's words, her whole body stiffened. Then she glared at Zhang Xu and ran back to her room.
After Zhang Xu glanced at the little girl who ran away, the smile on his lips deepened unconsciously. However, when he looked at the photo in his hand again, he instantly put away the smile and looked out the window with a gloomy face.
