Chapter 409 Homecoming (Part 3)
Half an hour later, Lu Xiaoxiao put the roast duck handed to her by the waiter into the backpack, then picked up the basket and walked out of the store.
After Lu Xiaoxiao left Quanjude, she walked towards the alley she had entered before. When she arrived at the alley and saw that there was no one around, she entered the space.
Lu Xiaoxiao came to the space, put the roast duck into the warehouse, went into the cloakroom to remove the disguise, then changed back into her original clothes and left the space.
After leaving the space, Lu Xiaoxiao saw that it was still early, so she planned to go to the scrap yard. She should have gone there earlier, but who could have expected so many things to happen.
Half an hour later, Lu Xiaoxiao arrived at the scrapyard. She saw the old man guarding the door smoking a pipe, so she walked up to him and said, "Uncle, can I go in and find some newspapers to paste on the wall?"
"Okay, but don't touch things that you shouldn't touch, okay?" Old Man Yu glanced at the little girl standing in front of him and instructed.
"I understand. Thank you, uncle." After thanking the uncle guarding the gate, Lu Xiaoxiao walked into the scrap yard.
When Lu Xiaoxiao arrived at the scrap yard, she first visited every room. After the visit, she couldn't help but sigh in her heart: Beijing is worthy of being the capital of China. The antiques in this scrap yard are much more than other places.
After Lu Xiaoxiao sighed in her heart, she began to search in each room, collecting all the treasures that she liked into the space. Since she had decided to protect these treasures and hand them over to China or open a museum when she had the chance, she would naturally collect as many as she could without being discovered.
An hour later, Lu Xiaoxiao walked up to the old man with a large stack of newspapers and said, "Uncle, these are the newspapers I want. How much do you think they cost?"
Old Man Yu glanced at the newspaper in the little girl's hand and said, "Did you take anything you shouldn't take?"
After hearing what the old man said, Lu Xiaoxiao put the newspaper on the ground, then picked up each stack of newspapers and shook them in front of the old man and said, "Uncle, I remember what you said before, don't touch things that you shouldn't touch."
After seeing the little girl shaking the newspapers and hearing what she said, Old Man Yu nodded in satisfaction and said, "Give me thirty cents for these newspapers."
When Lu Xiaoxiao heard what the old man said, she took out fifty cents from her pocket and handed it to him, then said, "Thank you, old man."
Old Man Yu took the money from the little girl, glanced at her and said, "Remember to come in the morning if you want to find a newspaper next time. I won't be guarding the door in the afternoon."
After hearing what the old man said, Lu Xiaoxiao immediately nodded and said, "I understand, old man."
After Lu Xiaoxiao came out of the scrap yard with a stack of newspapers, she hummed a song softly as she walked towards the hotel. She felt very happy whenever she thought of the "Side Chapters" that she found in the scrap yard today. She didn't expect that today's trip to the scrap yard would allow her to find one of the six lost medical books.
Lu Xiaoxiao thought that although she had found three lost medical books, she didn't know where the other three were. Now she could only pray that the three medical books would not be destroyed.
After Lu Xiaoxiao returned to the hotel, she looked at her dusty clothes and curled her lips in disgust, then went into the space to take a shower.
After taking a shower, Lu Xiaoxiao thought that she hadn't eaten spicy hot pot for a long time, so she took a bowl of spicy hot pot and a cup of milk tea from the warehouse, and then sat on the sofa and ate while watching TV series.
