Chapter 4519: Snow Shoveling (Part 2)
When she left the house, a gust of cold wind blew and made her shiver. She no longer cared about the snow scene and put on a mask, hat and gloves. Then she picked up the shovel placed by the wall and started shoveling snow.
After more than ten minutes, Lu Xiaoxiao had shoveled out a path, but this was far from enough. She needed to shovel the snow outside the yard, otherwise all her efforts would be in vain.
So she thought of a way, and she saw Zhang Yuanyuan in the house and shouted: "Yuanyuan, come out for a moment."
"What's up?"
"Go to the bathroom and get me the plastic bucket. I can use it."
"Okay." After saying that, Zhang Yuanyuan went back to the house to get a plastic bucket.
When she returned to the outside, she had two more buckets in her hands, so she shouted to Lu Xiaoxiao, "Xiaoxiao, bring the buckets."
After hearing what Zhang Yuanyuan said, Lu Xiaoxiao stopped shoveling snow and walked towards Zhang Yuanyuan. When she reached in front of Zhang Yuanyuan, she reached out and took the bucket Zhang Yuanyuan handed to her, and asked Wu Chao to say to Zhang Yuanyuan, "Go back to the house quickly, don't catch a cold."
"Okay, I'll go back to my room first. If you can't stand it anymore, remember to go back to your room quickly. Don't force yourself."
"Got it, come on in, I'll go shovel the snow once you're in."
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, Zhang Yuanyuan said okay and asked Wu to go back to the house.
At around eleven o'clock in the morning, after Lu Xiaoxiao poured the last bucket of snow she had cleared from the yard outside, she carried the bucket back into the yard, closed the gate, and walked into the house.
When she entered the house, she smelled a strong fragrance, so she asked Zhang Yuanyuan: "Yuanyuan, what delicious food did you make?"
"Hong Shao Rou, go upstairs and take a shower, then come down to eat."
"Okay." After saying that, Lu Xiaoxiao went upstairs to take a shower.
When she came downstairs after taking a shower, she saw Zhang Yuanyuan had already prepared dinner, so she walked towards the dining table while drying her hair.
When she walked to the dining table, she draped the towel around her neck and sat down at the table.
Then he said to Zhang Yuanyuan who was busy in the kitchen: "Yuanyuan, stop working and come over to eat."
"It will be here soon, you eat first."
After hearing what Zhang Yuanyuan said, Lu Xiaoxiao did not pick up her chopsticks. Instead, she waited until Zhang Yuanyuan came to the table before she started eating.
More than half an hour later, Lu Xiaoxiao had eaten and drunk her fill. Then she saw the snow outside was getting heavier and the wind was blowing even harder.
Suddenly she felt a little worried, but she didn't show it at all, because she was afraid that Zhang Yuanyuan would worry with her.
Fortunately, Zhang Xu and Monkey came back soon, so she quickly made a cup of brown sugar ginger water for each of them, and then she and Zhang Yuanyuan went to the kitchen to heat up the food.
After they heated up the food, Zhang Xu and Houzi had just finished drinking the brown sugar ginger water, so she asked them to come over and eat.
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, Zhang Xu and Monkey put down the cups in their hands and walked towards the dining table.
When they walked to the dining table, they saw the hot food. Suddenly, they both felt a little embarrassed, so they sat down at the table and picked up their chopsticks to eat.
After more than ten minutes, they finished all the food on the table, but they were not full. However, they didn't say anything because dinner would be available soon, so they decided to endure it for now. Anyway, they were not very hungry now.
