After a while she came out of the kitchen with breakfast, then she put it on the table and sat down to eat.
More than ten minutes later, she finished her breakfast and asked Zhang Yuanyuan, "What are you going to do today?"
"I don't know. The monkey won't let me go out."
"Then you just listen to him. It's not safe outside now."
Zhang Yuanyuan nodded after hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, and then she asked Lu Xiaoxiao: "Xiaoxiao, are you going to make dumplings for the New Year?"
"Of course, how can Chinese New Year be complete without dumplings?"
"Then I'll help you make dumplings. I have nothing to do at home anyway."
"Okay, I'll go buy some meat now."
"No meat at home?"
"Yes, but the meat will be saved for the New Year."
"Okay, then you go early and come back early."
After hearing what Zhang Yuanyuan said, Lu Xiaoxiao nodded, then she put on her coat and walked out to the hospital.
When she entered the hospital, she asked which ward Shen Ru was staying in, and then she walked towards Shen Ru's ward.
A few minutes later, when she walked to the door of Shen Ru's ward, she saw Shen Ru lying on the bed in a daze, so she knocked on the door a few times.
When Shen Ru heard the knock on the door, she immediately came back to her senses, and then she looked in the direction of the door and saw Lu Xiaoxiao standing at the door, so she said to Lu Xiaoxiao: "You are here."
"Um."
"Sit wherever you want. I can't entertain you right now."
After hearing what Shen Ru said, Lu Xiaoxiao smiled indifferently, then she found a stool and sat down, and asked Shen Ru: "What do you want from me?"
"Thank you."
"You're welcome. It was just a coincidence that day."
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, Shen Ru shook his head and said, “You could have ignored it at the time, but you still chose to save me, so I must thank you.”
"Oh, I accept your thanks. Is there anything else you need?"
"I'm leaving here."
"That's good. I can start over again after leaving here."
"Yeah, I can start over again after leaving here, and then I won't have to look for a partner anymore."
After hearing what Shen Ru said, Lu Xiaoxiao smiled noncommittally, and then she said to Shen Ru: "If there is nothing else, I will leave first."
"Wait, I have something else I want to ask you for help with."
