At around three o'clock in the morning, Lu Xiaoxiao opened her eyes and looked around, only to find it was pitch black all around. So how long had she slept?
Just as Lu Xiaoxiao was about to turn on the light, she heard some noise coming from the yard, so she immediately withdrew her hand that was about to turn on the light and listened carefully to the noise coming from the yard.
"Boss, I told you that Master Xiao was asleep, but you didn't believe me. Do you believe me now?"
Zhang Xu pursed his lips when he heard Scorpion's words, then he looked at Scorpion and said, "You can leave now."
"Boss, you are destroying the bridge after crossing it. You have no moral principles."
"Oh, so what?"
After hearing Zhang Xu's words and seeing Zhang Xu's dangerous eyes, Scorpion immediately became timid. If he had known earlier, he would have lived in the base like Gray Cat and the others.
Unfortunately, there is no medicine for regret in the world, so he could only accept his fate and stay in the guesthouse for one night.
After the scorpion left, Zhang Xu rubbed his temple and then walked into the house.
When he entered the house, he saw the little girl standing on the corridor on the second floor looking at him.
So he asked the little girl, "Why haven't you slept yet?"
"It's not that I didn't sleep, but I just woke up. How did you solve your problem?"
"It has been resolved. As for that place, it has been taken over by a special department, so that place has nothing to do with us from now on."
"I know. Have you had dinner or a midnight snack?"
"No."
"Then I'll cook. What do you want to eat?"
"It will be all right."
"Then I'll cook whatever I have. You can go upstairs and take a shower while I'm cooking."
"Okay." After Zhang Xu finished speaking, he walked upstairs.
After Zhang Xu went upstairs, Lu Xiaoxiao walked towards the kitchen. When she entered the kitchen, she saw a casserole on the table, so she decided to cook some casserole porridge.
So she took out the ingredients from the space and started cooking casserole porridge.
More than half an hour later, when Lu Xiaoxiao saw that the porridge was almost cooked, she sprinkled a handful of chopped green onions into the pot, then carried the casserole out of the kitchen.
When she came out of the kitchen, she saw Zhang Xu coming down from upstairs, so she called out to him, "I've already cooked the porridge, come and eat it."
After hearing what the little girl said, Zhang Xu quickened his pace and walked downstairs. When he walked to the table, he saw the bright and shiny porridge, which made him hungry.
So he asked Lu Xiaoxiao: "Can I eat it?"
"Of course, you can help yourself to how much you want to eat."
After hearing what the little girl said, Zhang Xu picked up the spoon and scooped up the porridge. She first served the little girl a bowl of porridge, and then served herself some.
More than ten minutes later, Lu Xiaoxiao finished the last mouthful of porridge in the bowl. Then she looked at the casserole and saw that there was still a lot of porridge left in it, so she said to Zhang Xu: "I can't drink it anymore. If you can finish it, then finish it."
"Okay, it's still early, go upstairs and rest for a while."
After hearing what Zhang Xu said, Lu Xiaoxiao nodded, and then she walked upstairs.
After the little girl came upstairs, Zhang Xu quickly finished the porridge in the bowl, and then drank all the remaining porridge in the casserole. Only then did he contentedly clean up the dishes and go to the kitchen to wash them.
After he washed the dishes and came out of the kitchen, he glanced at the wall clock and saw that it was only five o'clock. He planned to go back to his room and take a nap, because he had slept too little recently, and even if he was in good health, he could not bear it any longer, so he was in urgent need of sleep.
So he walked towards the room upstairs.
