Seven or eight minutes later, Zhang Xu returned to the alley, and then he saw the little girl leaning against the wall with a bad look on her face. He asked her, "What's wrong with you?"
"I'm a little tired, let's go home."
After hearing what the little girl said, Zhang Xu knew that she was not telling the truth. But even if he asked the little girl to tell the truth now, he would not be able to help her.
So he could only say to the little girl: "Walk slower. If you can't walk anymore, call me and I'll carry you back."
After hearing what Zhang Xu said, Lu Xiaoxiao nodded. Then after Zhang Xu picked up the things on the ground, she walked towards home with Zhang Xu.
More than ten minutes later, Lu Xiaoxiao returned home, and then she said to Liu Ermei and Zhang Yuanyuan who were sorting out the food: "I bought a lot of vegetables and meat today. Remember to marinate the meat later, otherwise I'm afraid it will go bad."
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, Liu Ermei and Zhang Yuanyuan said okay. Then they put the things in Zhang Xu's hands on the ground in front of them, picked up the things and walked towards the kitchen.
After Liu Ermei and Zhang Yuanyuan entered the kitchen, Lu Xiaoxiao said to Zhang Xu, "I'll go upstairs and rest for a while. You can go and do your own thing."
"Do you need me to take you to the hospital? You look really bad."
After hearing what Zhang Xu said, Lu Xiaoxiao laughed guiltily twice, and then said, "No, I know medicine myself, so you don't have to worry, I'll be fine after a good sleep."
"Then go upstairs and have a rest. If you feel uncomfortable later, call me."
"Okay, then I'll go upstairs first." After Lu Xiaoxiao finished speaking, she walked upstairs.
When she entered the room, she didn't even have time to take off her clothes and just lay down on the bed because she felt so dizzy.
At about 11 o'clock in the afternoon, Liu Ermei prepared lunch and then asked Zhang Yuanyuan, "Should we go and call Xiaoxiao and her brother to eat?"
"Go ahead, otherwise it would be rude for the two of us to eat first."
After hearing what Liu Ermei said, Zhang Yuanyuan felt that it made sense, so she went to the second floor with Liu Ermei.
After they went up to the second floor, they went their separate ways, one to call Lu Xiaoxiao and the other to call Zhang Xu.
"Xiaoxiao hasn't come out yet?" Zhang Xu asked Liu Ermei when he came out of the study.
"No, I knocked on the door for a long time, but there was no movement in the room."
"You go downstairs first, I'll call her."
After hearing what Zhang Xu said, Liu Ermei and Zhang Yuanyuan said okay, and then they walked downstairs.
After Liu Ermei and Zhang Yuanyuan went downstairs, Zhang Xu took out a piece of wire from his bag and opened the door.
After he opened the door, he shouted Lu Xiaoxiao's name several times into the house, but there was still no movement. He suddenly had a bad feeling in his heart, so he immediately ran into the house.
Then she saw the little girl lying on the bed with a pale face. He immediately rushed forward, picked up the little girl, and shouted to her: "Wake up... wake up..."
Unfortunately, no matter how he called, the person in his arms didn't respond at all, so he just rushed out of the house with the little girl in his arms.
"What's wrong with Xiaoxiao?" Liu Ermei immediately asked Zhang Xu when she saw Zhang Xu rushing down from upstairs holding Lu Xiaoxiao.
"She fainted. I'm taking her to the hospital now."
"We'll go with you."
"No need." After Zhang Xu finished speaking, he ignored Liu Ermei and Zhang Yuanyuan and ran out of the house carrying the little girl.
