At around eleven o'clock in the morning, Lu Xiaoxiao came out of the kitchen with the cooked noodles. She put the noodles on the coffee table, took out a bottle of sauce she had made in the morning, and started mixing the noodles.
After she mixed the noodles, she took out a head of pickled garlic from the space and started eating the noodles.
It is said that she doesn't like eating garlic, but she can accept pickled garlic. I don't know why.
More than ten minutes later, Lu Xiaoxiao finished her noodles. Just as she was about to go to the kitchen to wash the dishes, she saw Zhang Xu walk into the living room, so she asked Zhang Xu, "Why did you go home?"
"Take a break this afternoon."
"Have you eaten yet?"
"not yet."
"Then I'll go cook you a bowl of noodles." After saying that, Lu Xiaoxiao stood up and walked towards the kitchen.
When she came out of the kitchen after cooking the noodles, she saw Zhang Xu coming down from upstairs after taking a shower. She asked Zhang Xu, "Would you like some pickled garlic with your noodles?"
"You drowned?"
"No, I bought it."
"No need for that. I'll just eat noodles."
After hearing what Zhang Xu said, Lu Xiaoxiao did not give Zhang Xu the pickled garlic. Instead, she placed the bottle of sauce she had opened earlier next to the noodles, and then said to Zhang Xu, "This is the sauce I made this morning. Use it to mix with the noodles."
"Okay." After Zhang Xu finished speaking, he sat down at the table and picked up the chopsticks to mix the noodles.
More than ten minutes later, Zhang Xu finished his lunch. He took the dishes to the kitchen to wash them, and then said to Lu Xiaoxiao, "The old man and his friends are planning to go back to Beijing."
"Why are they going back to Beijing?"
"I don't know. They just said they were going back to Beijing. I guess they've already boarded the train."
After listening to Zhang Xu's words, Lu Xiaoxiao thought for a while, but couldn't figure out the reason why the old man and the others returned to Beijing, so she simply stopped thinking about it. Anyway, she would know it naturally when the time came.
So she stopped dwelling on this question and asked Zhang Xu, "Do you have a place to put them?"
"Yes, but I haven't decided where to put them."
After hearing what Zhang Xu said, Lu Xiaoxiao looked up and looked out the window, then she saw the house opposite, and instantly she knew where to settle the old man and the others.
So she said to Zhang Xu, "I know where to put the old ghost and the others."
"Where to settle?"
“Just put them across from our house.”
After hearing what the little girl said, Zhang Xu raised his head and looked across. Then he remembered that the house across was bought by Lu Xiaoxiao. However, something had happened in the house across before, and if someone moved in now, it would definitely cause controversy.
So he said to the little girl, "Your idea is good, but it's better not to have anyone living in that house for the time being."
"Why?"
“It’s too eye-catching.”
Lu Xiaoxiao was stunned for a moment after hearing what Zhang Xu said, but she soon understood what Zhang Xu meant, so she said to Zhang Xu: "I didn't think it through. That house is really not suitable for living now."
"Don't worry, people will forget about it in a year or two, and then we can find someone to renovate the house and people can live in it."
After hearing what Zhang Xu said, Lu Xiaoxiao nodded, and then she said to Zhang Xu: "Since that house is not suitable for living, let's arrange for the old man to live in my house. Anyway, my house is empty now, so we can just buy some bedding and move in directly."
"Okay, I'll have someone arrange it."
