Gray Cat and the others fell silent after hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, because Lu Xiaoxiao was right. Even if they didn't believe Mu Zhen, they should believe Zhang Xu.
So they stopped worrying about it and asked Lu Xiaoxiao, "Master Xiao, what are we having for lunch?"
"Didn't the old man go get the food?"
"He did, but he saw you cooking in the kitchen, so he didn't take our food."
After hearing what Gray Cat said, Lu Xiaoxiao was silent for a while. Then she took out some money from her pocket and handed it to Gray Cat, saying, "You guys go to the state-owned restaurant to eat, and pack some for me."
"Okay, but we don't need the money because we don't need it now."
"Okay, go ahead. Zhang Xu should have something for you to do this afternoon."
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, the four people including Gray Cat nodded, then they took their lunch boxes, left the yard and walked towards the state-owned restaurant.
After Gray Cat and the other three left, Lu Xiaoxiao walked towards the house where Old Ghost and the others lived. Since it was daytime, the door of the house was not closed, so she went straight in.
Then she saw the ghost old man and the others eating, so she said to the ghost old man: "Bring the food with you and follow me."
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, the old man said "OK", then he stood up and followed Lu Xiaoxiao out of the house.
After he left the room, he asked Lu Xiaoxiao, "Master Xiao, what's the matter with you calling me out?"
"Go and help me prepare some things later."
"What?"
"Follow this list and buy as much as you can." After Lu Xiaoxiao finished speaking, she took out the list she had prepared in advance and handed it to the old man.
After the old man took the list that Lu Xiaoxiao handed to him, he carefully read the contents on the list and felt that Lu Xiaoxiao had given him the wrong list.
So she asked Lu Xiaoxiao: "Master Xiao, did you give the wrong order?"
"No, just buy what's on the list, and don't worry about the rest."
Although the old man was still very confused after hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, he didn't ask anything in the end. He just nodded at Lu Xiaoxiao and turned to walk into the house.
After the old man came into the house, Lu Xiaoxiao realized that she had done everything she needed to do, so she went back to her room.
At around five o'clock in the evening, Lu Xiaoxiao heard the noise of food distribution coming from the yard, so she opened the door and walked towards the yard.
When she walked to the center of the yard, she saw that they had almost finished sharing the food, so she asked the ghost old man, "Have you bought the things I asked you to buy?"
"I've bought them, but the quantity is a bit large, so they won't deliver them until tonight."
"You didn't ask them to send it here?"
"No, I asked them to send it to the next alley."
"That's good. Remember to call me when you go to pick up the goods in the evening."
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, the old man nodded, then he picked up the meal that belonged to Lu Xiaoxiao and handed it to Lu Xiaoxiao.
After Lu Xiaoxiao took the meal handed to her by the old man, she thanked him and then walked towards the lobby with the meal.
When she entered the lobby, she saw that Zhang Xu was the only one there, so she asked him, "Where is Mr. Mu? Why isn't he with you?"
"He went to the kitchen to eat with Gray Cat and the others. He said he didn't finish the lunch."
After hearing what Zhang Xu said, Lu Xiaoxiao immediately understood. Then she didn't say anything else, but ate dinner with Zhang Xu in silence.
