After Lu Xiaoxiao chopped the meat, she seasoned it first. When she was about to cut the cabbage, she saw her second sister walking towards the kitchen.
"Second sister, are you ready?"

Two hours later, Lu Xiaoxiao and her second sister finally finished wrapping all the dumplings. She looked at the time and it was already half past twelve, so she asked her second sister, "Second sister, how about we have dumplings for lunch?"
"I can do anything."
"Then let's eat dumplings. I'll go boil some water and cook them now."
"Then leave the cleaning of the kang to me."

It took Lu Xiaoxiao half an hour to make the dumplings. After she placed the dumplings on the table, she asked her second sister, "Second sister, do you want to dip the dumplings in some sauce?"
"No, just give me a garlic."
After hearing what her second sister said, Lu Xiaoxiao nodded, then she went to the kitchen to prepare a small dish of dipping sauce for herself, took a head of garlic, and returned to the main room.
"Second sister, here's some garlic."
"Xiaoxiao, this is the first time I see people eating dumplings dipped in vinegar and chili." The second sister said after taking the garlic handed to her by Lu Xiaoxiao.
"Well, because I can't eat garlic."
"At first I couldn't eat garlic either. I thought it was too spicy, but I got used to it after eating it for a while."
"I'm not afraid of sour and spicy food, I just can't stand the taste of garlic."
"I see. But I heard from others that garlic in dumplings is more delicious the more you eat it. Do you really want to try it?"
"I won't try it. I really can't eat garlic."
"All right."
"Eat the dumplings quickly, or they will get cold soon."
"good."
After lunch, Lu Xiaoxiao saw that there was no wind today and the sun was quite strong, so she and her second sister moved a stool to sit in the yard to bask in the sun.
"Xiaoxiao, today is the third day of the New Year, right?" The second sister asked Lu Xiaoxiao while eating melon seeds.
"Well, what's wrong?"
"School starts in less than half a month."
"Isn't it nice to go to school?"
"It's really good, but when I think of my parents working hard in the fields while I'm sitting comfortably in the classroom studying, I always feel unhappy."
After hearing what her second sister said, Lu Xiaoxiao didn't know how to comfort her, so she could only pat her on the shoulder and said, "Everything will be fine."

Lu Xiaoxiao and her second sister were chatting in the yard while basking in the sun. An afternoon passed quickly. She looked at the time and it was already 4:30 in the afternoon, so she said to her second sister: "Second sister, I will go to cook now. Go home and see if your parents are back. If they are, bring them to my house for dinner."

After her second sister left, Lu Xiaoxiao went into the kitchen and chopped the chicken. Then she took out the seasonings and hot pot base from the space and started making hot pot chicken.
