Chapter 877 Spring Ploughing (I)
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, Mr. Fan and the others nodded. They were all old and it was not the time for them to show off their strength. If they got injured, it would bring trouble to the little girl, so they just listened to Xiaoxiao's arrangements.
"Masters, it's getting late. You should go to bed early. I'm going home."
"Um."
After leaving the cowshed, Lu Xiaoxiao did not go home immediately, but walked towards Liu Biao's house.
When Lu Xiaoxiao arrived at Liu Biao's door, she shouted directly into the yard: "Liu Biao, come out and open the door. I have something to talk to you about."
Liu Biao was about to go to bed. As soon as he sat down on the kang, he heard Lu Xiaoxiao's voice. This was the first time Lu Xiaoxiao came to his house to find him, so he immediately put on his shoes and went to the yard to open the door.
After Liu Biao opened the gate of the yard, he originally wanted to invite Lu Xiaoxiao to come in and sit down, but was rejected by Lu Xiaoxiao, so he had to stand at the gate of the yard and talk to Lu Xiaoxiao.
"Liu Biao, I have a favor to ask you." Lu Xiaoxiao said to Liu Biao.
"What's up?"
"Tomorrow the four old men from the cowshed will join you in carrying manure. I hope you can carry more and let them carry less."
When Liu Biao heard Lu Xiaoxiao's words, he did not immediately agree. Instead, he asked Lu Xiaoxiao, "What is your relationship with those people in the bullpen?"
“They helped me.”
"good."
When Lu Xiaoxiao saw that Liu Biao agreed, she said thank you to Liu Biao and went home.
The next morning at 6:30, Lu Xiaoxiao got out of bed when she heard the alarm clock ringing, yawned, and got up to wash.
After washing up, Lu Xiaoxiao ate two buns and drank a glass of milk, then picked up her backpack and walked towards the foot of the mountain.
"Second sister, why did you come so early?" When Lu Xiaoxiao arrived at the foot of the mountain, she saw that her second sister had already cut half a basket of pig grass, so she said to her second sister.
"I have nothing to do at home after breakfast, so I come here to cut grass for the pigs, so that I can cut an extra basket in the morning."
"Well, seeing how hard you work, I feel embarrassed to be lazy. I have to consider whether I should come to cut grass for the pigs next afternoon."
"It doesn't matter if you come or not if you're eating alone, not to mention you get a subsidy, so don't force yourself if you don't want to come."
"You're right. I'm now in a situation where I can feed my whole family, so I'd better continue to be a salted fish happily."
"Why do you want to be a salted fish?" Liu Ermei asked puzzledly after hearing Lu Xiaoxiao's words.
"I just said it casually."
"oh."
"Hurry up and cut the grass for the pigs. Didn't you say you would cut an extra basket of grass in the morning? If you keep talking to me, I guess you won't cut an extra basket of grass in the morning, but only one basket of grass."
After hearing what Lu Xiaoxiao said, Liu Ermei realized that now was not the time to chat, so she immediately turned around and continued mowing the grass.
When Lu Xiaoxiao saw Liu Ermei starting to cut grass, she put the basket on her back on the ground, then took out the sickle and gloves from the basket. After putting on the gloves, she started cutting grass for the pigs.
An hour later, Lu Xiaoxiao wiped the sweat off her forehead with her sleeve and said, "Second sister, I have already cut a basket of pig grass. How long will it take you to cut another basket?"
"I'll need another ten minutes."
"Then I'll sit over there by the rock and rest for a while. When you've finished cutting the pig grass, the dog will call me. Then I'll go with you to deliver the pig grass to the pig farm."
"good."
