The reason why Lu Xiaoxiao let Zhang Xu sleep on the same kang with her was because she was practicing at night, so it didn't matter if they shared the same kang.

Zhang Xu immediately said to Monkey and Wood, "You two follow in secret and ensure Xiaoxiao's safety."
