Yu Xi didn't dodge. Instead, she raised her hand and gripped her wrist tightly, her eyes cold as she stared at her intently. "Don't think that I'm still the same child from the orphanage you used to be, someone you could manipulate at will."
You'd better know what you're doing!
"I don't know who told you my company's address. And who told you which elementary school Zeze attends?"
"But if you dare to cause trouble, I can easily send you to jail for a few years."
Yu Xi leaned close to her ear and whispered, "After all, you know the mess you've made. Just because the dean isn't willing to pursue the matter doesn't mean I'm not."
With each word she spoke, the woman took a step back.
Looking at Yu Xi, who was a head taller than her, the woman felt inexplicably flustered. Her previous arrogance vanished instantly, but she still stubbornly said, "I don't know what you're talking about. I only know that I raised you, so I should come to find you."
"You raised me? Hahahaha—" Yu Xi sneered, suddenly feeling that she was extremely stupid for saying such a thing. "Giving me a leftover and making me work for your family from morning till night, is that what you call raising me?"
"I gave you food, but you didn't give me anything in return. Now you want me to repay you? You're dreaming!" Yu Xi let go of her hand and caught a glimpse of a girl two steps away from her, holding a water cup. She took the water cup from the girl's hand, poured the water over the woman's head, and then gave the cup back to the girl.

The woman heard this and got up even more. She sat down on the ground and cried out, "You're all bullying an old woman like me! I don't want to live anymore!"
"Fine, then go die!" Yu Xi chimed in, she hated this kind of troublemaker the most, who would say one thing but then start throwing a tantrum the next second.
From the argument between the two, everyone roughly understood the reason for the incident. Instead of pitying the woman, no one whispered about her.
Seeing that things were not going her way, the woman looked at the figure that had not yet appeared at the corner; that was her last hope.
Sun Shuhan had been observing Yu Xi and her from the corner of the crowd, thinking that the woman would make a big fuss and cause Yu Xi to lose control. She didn't expect the woman to be so useless, and she was helpless after being scared by Yu Xi.
She raised her voice and exclaimed, "Oh dear, what's going on?"
"Xiao Yu, look at everyone gathered here watching the fun, don't you guys have any work to do?"
The crowd dispersed instantly, and everyone returned to their workstations. Only Assistant Liu and a few security personnel stood between the woman and Yu Xi, fearing that the woman might go crazy and do something outrageous again.
Yu Xi said bluntly, "My employee, I haven't even said anything yet, but you're already starting to discipline him."
Sun Shuhan still had a smile on her face. This wasn't the first time she and Yu Xi had bickered. Today, she wasn't trying to win an argument, but rather to stop the person who was still pretending to cry on the ground.
"What is this?" she asked knowingly, her eyes meeting the woman's as she looked down.
Fortunately, the woman wasn't too stupid. She understood her hint and started crying, saying, "I am this child's adoptive mother. My family is so poor that we can't even afford to eat. I had no other choice but to come to her."
"Who knew that not only would she not acknowledge me as her adoptive mother, but she would also treat me like this? It's outrageous..." the woman wailed, drawing out her lament.
Assistant Liu crossed his arms and glanced at her disdainfully. "Are you really that poor? Why don't you go into acting? With such talent, it would be a waste not to act. You could earn money and use your skills."
“Look at her, even her own employees can bully me. When has she ever put an old woman like me in her eyes?”
Sun Shuhan pulled her up and brought her in front of Yu Xi, her face immediately showing a sympathetic expression. "Little Yu, I didn't even know you had an adoptive mother. Why didn't you entertain her when she came? Take her home to stay."
Yu Xi wasn't buying it and threw the question back at her directly, "Since you feel so sorry for her, why don't you take her back to your house? Oh, right. That's Meng Chou's house too, so it's also my house. If you take her back, it'll be like I'm letting her come home."
"This... this won't do." Sun Shuhan suppressed her anger. "When it comes to filial piety, it's best if you bring the person with you."
Yu Xi didn't answer. Instead, she stared into her eyes and asked, "You're the one who told her my company's address and where Zeze's school is, right?"

The woman began to explain, "I just met this lady; she didn't tell me these things."
"Then tell me, who told you that?" Yu Xi moved closer to her, her gaze scrutinizing.
The woman vehemently denied it, saying, "I investigated it myself. I just wanted to know what you were doing. It's not easy to find out about a big boss like you. And your son, that's information I gathered along the way."
“Easy?” Yu Xi pondered the word. Her information was not something that anyone could easily find out unless someone deliberately leaked it out.
Seeing Sun Shuhan's somewhat flustered appearance, she knew that she had guessed correctly again.
"Alright, I still have work to do." Yu Xi raised her chin slightly. "Take her away! If she causes any more trouble, just call the police. Anyway, her so-called adoptive mother status has long been invalidated. But she's just throwing a tantrum because she knows me."
Assistant Liu took the initiative, pulling the person next to Sun Shuhan over and gesturing to the security guards.
"You won't support me? Do you think I'll leave? I never intended to go back after I came here!" The woman screamed as she was dragged into the elevator, looking determined not to give up.
Yu Xi never expected that Sun Shuhan would be able to bring up things from so many years ago and use them against her.
She knew that the woman had come simply to ask her for an exorbitant amount of money. Neither she nor Sun Shuhan would give up until they got what they wanted.
But Yu Xi really wasn't in the mood to fight with them. She had a lot of work to do, and after watching the people being taken away, she didn't interfere any further.
Yu Xi was busy until 6 p.m. When she closed her laptop, she turned to look out the window. The office building across the street was already lit up, and from this spot, she could vaguely see people still working.
She instructed Assistant Liu, "I'll drive home myself today, so you should also leave work early."
"Okay. Mr. Yu, please drive carefully and be safe."
Yu Xi nodded, and everyone in the office area gradually left. Jin Xuexiao's designated quitting time was 5:30 pm, but she always left half an hour later than her employees.
The moment the car drove out of the underground parking garage, Zhang Jinhua called. The instant Yu Xi answered, a panicked voice came through the phone: "President Yu, there's been someone standing at the door since around 5 p.m., saying she's Zeze's grandmother and insists on coming in."
“Uncle Li and the others stopped her from coming in, but when Zeze came home from school, as soon as he opened the car door, before we noticed, that person grabbed him and insisted that he call her Grandma.”
“He was still holding onto him, wanting to come in with him. I knew you were busy at that time, so I didn’t dare call you. Now Zeze has been brought into the house by us, but that person refuses to leave no matter what, he just stays at the door.”
Yu Xi didn't intend to hide it from her. Zhang Jinhua had worked here for several years and knew roughly about her. She said directly, "She is the adoptive mother I told you about, the one who treated me badly and even tried to harm me."
"Okay, we understand. We'll just kick her out."
"No need, just let her in." Yu Xi suddenly had an idea. She knew that the woman wouldn't leave without getting something in return.
If you call the police, all you'll get in return is persuasion and a settlement.
But this approach is completely useless. If a problem could be solved by talking, why bother other people?
“Since she wants to stay so much, Sun Shuhan must have told her everything.”
Zhang Jinhua didn't understand, but she did as she was told.
Seeing that no one was blocking her way at the gate, the woman was about to quicken her pace to enter the yard when the roar of a sports car came from afar. She turned around and saw a red supercar speeding towards her.
Unable to dodge in time, and overcome by fear, the woman's legs went weak and she sat down on the ground with a thud. The car came to a steady stop less than five centimeters away from her.
Yu Xi opened the car door and got out, pulling her sunglasses up to her forehead. Looking at the terrified person sitting on the ground, she laughed and said, "You really are persistent, managing to find your way here."
The woman was panting heavily, still reeling from the shock. Like a leech, she scrambled to her feet and followed Yu Xi's footsteps, trembling, as if afraid of being locked out again.
This sudden display of force really startled her; she hadn't expected Yu Xi to be so crazy.
But looking at the neatly manicured lawns along the way, and the lights lit up in the well-maintained gardens, the entire road was decorated in a very simple way, yet it exuded a touch of elegance.
She knew she had made the right decision.
Just before entering, Yu Xi stopped and glanced back at her. The woman immediately turned fierce. "If you don't let me stay here, I'll spread rumors about you right here. I'm not afraid of losing face, but you, as a big boss, must have some pride, right?"
Yu Xi laughed and said, "I didn't say I wouldn't let you stay at my house."
The woman felt a surge of pride, but then suddenly realized something was amiss. She tentatively asked, "You just agreed like that?"
"I only said you could stay here, I didn't say I'd provide you with food and drink." After glancing at the corner of a talisman sticking out of the woman's backpack, Yu Xi felt even more confident in her suspicions. She deliberately provoked the woman, "Why wouldn't I use a free nanny?"
The woman retorted, pushing open the door before she could say anything, "You want me to serve you? No way."
"We'll see! I'll make you beg me to leave this house," Yu Xi said in a low voice.
She has her own logic and methods for dealing with people like that.
