Chapter 162 Wang Shiya’s Invitation 1

"If I don't show up within three days, it means that our Skeleton Family has decided to give up this treatment opportunity after discussion."

"These two sets of organs are a way of repaying the hope you gave us, even though this hope has not yet been realized."

"But please believe us, we are not ungrateful. It's just that the decision we face is too difficult, and the future of our family is filled with too much uncertainty."

"We are responsible for the fate of our entire family. If the cost of this adventure is too great, we have to act with caution."

"I hope you can understand our difficulties and hope you can continue to help those in need in the future."

Mr. Skeleton put down his pen, and a hint of gratitude seemed to appear in his empty eyes.

He bowed slightly, then turned and left Ankang Hospital.

After Mr. Skeleton left, Lin Lin and Li Xiu looked at each other, their hearts filled with worry and expectation.

Lin Lin sighed softly and said slowly, "I don't know if their decision is right, but I wonder how much pressure they must be under to give up treatment!"

Li Xiu frowned slightly and responded, "Indeed, their situation is difficult, and we can only respect their choice."

"But those two sets of organs are truly too precious. We must keep them properly. Perhaps they can help others who are more in need in the future."

They looked at the direction where Mr. Skeleton left and couldn't calm down for a long time.

The corridors of Ankang Hospital are filled with a complex emotion, including regret, understanding, and uncertainty about the future.

Lin Lin walked to the window, looked at the outside world, and silently prayed in his heart that the Skeleton Family could find their way out.

Days passed, but the Skeleton never showed up, and they could not find any news about the Skeleton family.

As time passed, Lin Lin and Li Xiu gradually buried the affairs of the Skeleton Family deep in their hearts and continued to devote themselves to their busy hospital work.

However, whenever it was late at night and everyone was asleep, they would occasionally think of the mysterious Mr. Skeleton and the unknown family behind him.

This morning, the sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, casting mottled shadows.

Wang Hanyu walked leisurely all the way to Lin Lin's office.

He seemed to be in a particularly relaxed mood, perhaps because of the beautiful weather.

"Knock knock knock"

A crisp knock on the door broke the silence in the office.

Lin Lin raised his head, put down the pen in his hand, and said in a steady voice, "Come in!"

The office door was slowly pushed open, and Wang Hanyu appeared at the door.

He had a faint smile on his face, and his eyes revealed a hint of curiosity and anticipation as he looked into the room.

After all, this was his first time coming here since Ankang Hospital was built.

The sunlight shone through the window onto his shoulders, as if casting a soft halo over him.

Wang Hanyu walked slowly into the office, looking around the room.

The brand new tables and chairs, neatly arranged medical equipment, and the inspiring slogans on the wall all made him feel the professionalism and vitality here.

He recalled the days he had spent with Lin Lin. Although busy, they were full of meaning.

Ankang Hospital has been open for such a long time, and this is his first time here. It doesn’t mean that his relationship with Lin Lin has become distant, and the two of them don’t interact with each other.

It's just that both of them happened to be busy.

Lin Lin was busy stabilizing the development of the hospital, while Wang Hanyu was busy expanding the Haoyijia supermarket.

They are all working hard for their careers. Although they have less contact, their friendship has never changed.

Lin Lin looked at Wang Hanyu and a smile appeared on his face.

"Brother Wang, how come you have time to come and sit with me today?" Lin Lin's voice was a little friendly.

Wang Hanyu smiled and walked over to sit opposite Lin Lin.

"I'm here on orders. My eldest sister said the pawn shop received some things you wanted, and asked if you wanted to take a look."

Lin Lin was slightly stunned, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. "Oh? What is it?"

Wang Hanyu smiled mysteriously. "I don't know exactly what it is. My sister didn't elaborate, but she said you'd definitely be interested if you went there."

Lin Lin thought for a moment and nodded.

"Okay, let's go tomorrow. I'll take care of the phone issue and make all the arrangements."

While listening, Wang Hanyu nodded.

Lin Lin changed the subject and asked him, "How are things going over there lately? Is the supermarket expansion going smoothly?"

Wang Hanyu leaned back in his chair with a confident smile on his face.

"Not bad, everything is going according to plan. Although there were some minor problems, they were all resolved."

"How about you? Has the hospital stabilized? But I took a look around when I first came here, and it's pretty good."

Lin Lin sighed. "It's not that easy, but things are slowly getting back on track."

"There are more and more patients now, and the staff are not enough. We are under increasing pressure."

"But when I see those patients gradually recovering under our treatment, I still feel a sense of accomplishment."

The two of them started chatting, as if they were back in the past.

They shared their experiences and stories and encouraged each other.

Time passed by unknowingly, and the sunlight gradually became softer.

Finally, Wang Hanyu stood up. "Okay, I won't bother you anymore. Go ahead and do your thing. I'll come find you tomorrow, and then we'll go together."

Lin Lin also stood up and walked Wang Hanyu to the door. "Okay, thank you for making this special trip."

Wang Hanyu waved his hand. "Don't be polite. Do we really need to talk about this? I'll be leaving now. We'll talk next time."

Looking at Wang Hanyu's departing back, Lin Lin's heart was filled with warmth.

He knew that no matter how time passed, their friendship would never change.

After Wang Hanyu left, Lin Lin returned to his desk and looked at the documents piled on it, but his thoughts drifted to the pawnshop that Wang Hanyu mentioned from time to time.

What could be the thing that interested him so much? Lin Lin's curiosity was completely piqued.

After a busy whole day, Lin Lin finally finished dealing with the urgent matters at hand.

She stretched out in her office chair and leaned back. The mysterious object mentioned by Wang Hanyu appeared in her mind again.

Thinking that she had to go out tomorrow, she called Zhao Ming, Nan Sheng, Li Xiu and Hao Yang over to give them some instructions.
