The new manager, Zhao Yang, is one of the heads of the audit department at Xinghui Cinema and a popular candidate for the executive manager position.
Lin Wanqing had already spoken with five middle-level cadres, but none of them had closed the door.
After Zhao Yang went in, he closed the door. Lin Wanqing frowned and said, "Why are you closing the door? Open it."
Zhao Yang: "President Lin, I have something important to report. It wouldn't be good if someone overheard us with the door open."
Lin Wanqing said, "Oh? Okay then. Tell me more about what it is?"
Zhao Yang tiptoed to Lin Wanqing's desk and sat down, leaning forward slightly. He whispered, "President Lin, during our audit, we discovered that Qi Hui embezzled public funds. And the amount is substantial, estimated to be over 100 million."
Upon hearing this, Lin Wanqing said, "Oh? Is that so? Are you sure you're sure?"
Zhao Yang nodded, his expression grave: "President Lin, our audit department has verified it repeatedly, and the evidence is conclusive and there is no mistake. During his tenure as executive manager, Qi Hui abused his power to embezzle public funds for personal use on multiple occasions, engaging in illegal activities such as stock investment and purchasing luxury goods."
Upon hearing this, Lin Wanqing nodded. She hadn't expected Qi Hui to do something so audacious.
Embezzling over 100 million yuan of public funds is no small amount.
If this matter is exposed, it will not only deal a devastating blow to Qi Hui personally, but also greatly affect the reputation of Xinghui Cinema.
"Zhao Yang, you handled it very well." Lin Wanqing nodded approvingly. "First, organize the relevant evidence and materials, and then hand them over to the legal department so they can conduct further investigation and verification."

After receiving the room number, Li Yi got up and walked into the building.

"Hello sir, are you here on business or looking for someone?"
Li Yi: "Find someone!"
"Who should I look for?"
Li Yi: "Looking for your General Manager Lin."
"Looking for our General Manager Lin?"
The security guard looked Li Yi up and down suspiciously, clearly doubting his identity.
After all, President Lin had only been here for a few days, and not many people were looking for her. Moreover, judging from Li Yi's casual attire, he didn't seem to be here to discuss serious matters.
"Do you have an appointment?" one of the security guards asked politely but firmly.
Li Yi: "I didn't make an appointment, but I'm a friend of your General Manager Lin, and she asked me to come up."

One of the security guards said, "I'm sorry, sir, we can't let you in without an appointment."

Another security guard said, "President Lin called you? Dude, are you kidding me? Who is President Lin? The president of a multi-billion dollar company, calling you?"
Li Yi: "What? I don't look like I have any connection with President Lin?"
Security guard: "Of course!"
Li Yi didn't want to waste time talking to them, so he directly took out the call log and showed it to them.
Two security guards came over and took a look. Sure enough, there was a call record from two minutes ago with the name Lin Wanqing on it.

After the two security guards finished speaking, they shooed Li Yi out.
Li Yi was furious.

Li Yi was too lazy to waste words with them and tried to barge in, but two security guards stopped him from entering.
"Sir, if you continue like this, we'll call the police!"
Li Yi was speechless. Damn it, I bought the company myself, and now I can't even go in?
"Are you forcing me to have your General Manager Lin come down and carry me up?"
Upon hearing this, the two security guards clutched their stomachs and laughed.

Li Yi: "Alright! Do you dare to bet? What if your CEO Lin comes down and carries me up?"

Li Yi: "Okay. It's a deal!"
Li Yi took out his phone and, in front of the two security guards, dialed Lin Wanqing's number on the screen and put it on speakerphone.
The two security guards panicked. Holy crap, could it really be true?
"What's the panic? Even if it's President Lin's number, does she really think he can take advantage of her?"

The call was connected very quickly.
"Li Yi, are you up yet? I can't see you." Lin Wanqing's voice came through the loudspeaker.
