Chapter 63 Good News (2/2)

"Really?" Zheng Wanqing's eyes lit up, her surprise beyond words.

Xie Yun felt her hand unconsciously tightening around his palm and nodded slightly: "Well, now he is just a bird with broken wings, trapped in a cage, unable to stir up any waves, and can only wait to die."

"Too much!" Zheng Wanqing couldn't help but let out a long sigh after hearing this. "He dared to rob the disaster relief grain. This is such a heartless thing. I knew that sooner or later this day would come!"

"This leech who sucked the blood and fat of the people has been plundering so many people. I don't know how many innocent people he has harmed. All the life-saving food that was taken from the people must be spit out!"

Zheng Wanqing leaned on Xie Yun's shoulder, feeling his warmth and solid support, but suddenly felt his chest vibrating slightly.

This man was actually laughing!

"Any more news?" She looked up and caught a glimpse of cunning in his eyes.

Xie Yun pulled out a newspaper from his pocket like a magic trick. Zheng Wanqing took a closer look and saw that Qiu Huayan's signed article on the front page of "Awakening" occupied half of the page.

"Now the foreigners are denouncing it." He snorted coldly, his eyes full of contempt and disdain for the Japanese pirates, "The Japanese pirates had to send supplies to make amends for their face."

Zheng Wanqing read the newspaper carefully. The detailed experimental data made her gasp. A chill crept up her spine. She subconsciously shrank into his arms and said worriedly, "The experimental data was published in such detail in the newspaper. It's so reckless... Isn't Mr. Qiu in danger?"

Xie Yun gathered her scattered hair lovingly and said, "Don't worry, I have sent elite soldiers to protect him secretly."

Zheng Wanqing's worries were slightly relieved. "If this batch of medicine can be delivered in time, it will definitely save a lot of people. Thank you for your hard work during this period."

Just as Xie Yun was about to reply, there were three long and two short knocks on the door.

"Young Marshal, it's me." Zhou Lin's voice sounded outside the door, with a hint of urgency.

"Come in." Xie Yun said loudly.

"Young Marshal, the medicine has arrived!" Zhou Lin's voice was shaking with excitement. "Twenty boxes of penicillin, just delivered by the Japanese Consulate in a military vehicle!"

Xie Yun and Zheng Wanqing looked at each other and suddenly burst into laughter. Xie Yun couldn't contain his joy, so he picked up Zheng Wanqing and spun her around. His movements were so brisk and powerful that she subconsciously tightened her grip on his tie and said coquettishly, "Put me down! How disgraceful..."

Zheng Wanqing saw Zhou Lin standing at the door, his eyes fixed on the tip of his shoes, pretending not to notice what was happening here. She immediately blushed from her neck to her ears, and hurriedly pushed Xie Yun away, frantically tidying up her wrinkled collar, and stammered, "Have you counted the medicines?"

"I've taken inventory!" Zhou Lin replied hurriedly.

"Let's send it to the epidemic area now." Xie Yun's expression straightened up and he said in an orderly manner, "You step back first, I'll go over later." Then he waved his hand to signal him to go down.

Zhou Lin felt relieved and turned around and left in a hurry.
