Chapter 51 Climb into bed

After comforting Nalan Jingyue, Su Yao took him to a small room on the west side of the yard. In fact, this room was newly built by Su Yao and Ning Jing in order to hide their tracks.

I didn't expect it would come in handy now.

He tidied the room again and took out a new quilt to spread out on the bed.

"Jingyue, if you're sleepy, just rest here. You can call me if you need anything. You know where my room is, right? I just told you."

Nalan Jingyue nodded seriously and said, "I know!"

Seeing him so well-behaved, Su Yao breathed a sigh of relief. It was really hard to take care of a child. It was like she had become a mother in advance.

I was just about to take him out for a walk, but suddenly I remembered something important.

It is better for him to cultivate his soul as soon as possible.

He first went to say hello to Ning Jing and told her that he was going to start nurturing Nalan Jingyue's soul, and asked her not to come look for him.

Then he returned to Nalan Jingyue's room and set up a defensive formation outside the room to prevent anyone from accidentally entering and disturbing him. He let him lie on the bed first, then took out the Soul-Calming Banner and placed it beside him.

I reminded him not to move around, and only after seeing that he responded obediently did I start to move without worry.

Su Yao did not dare to take it lightly when using the Soul-Calming Banner for the first time, fearing that it would cause irreversible consequences.

He slowly injected spiritual power into the Soul-Calming Banner and slowly separated Nalan Jingyue's soul according to the method taught by Master Qinglian. He showed an expression of obvious discomfort on his face, but remembering Su Yao's instructions, he did not dare to move.

Finally, Nalan Jingyue's soul was absorbed into the Soul-Calming Banner. Su Yao did not dare to stop and continued to inject her spiritual power into the Soul-Calming Banner. Fortunately, she had two golden elixirs in her body, otherwise, if she continued to output spiritual power for an hour, it might really be sucked dry.

After persisting for an hour, she placed his soul back into his body. After completing this step, Su Yao dared to withdraw the spiritual power from her soul-calming banner.

She approached the bed with a nervous look on her face. The person on the bed had his eyes tightly closed. Su Yao gently patted his shoulder, but the person on the bed still did not respond at all.

Su Yao was a little panicked for a moment, wondering if something really went wrong.

He increased the strength in his hands a little and continued to pat, and this time, the person on the bed finally responded.

Her eyelashes trembled slightly, and she slowly opened her eyes, but the person on the bed seemed to be unaware of the current situation.

Su Yao said excitedly: "You woke up! That's great, I thought I made a mistake."

"Sister? What's wrong with me?"

After helping him sit up, he slowly said, "You're fine. I just helped you nourish your spirit. Just think of it as a good sleep. How do you feel now?"

"It feels... no different."

"That's good. Do you want to sleep a little longer?"

"I'm not going to sleep anymore, sister. I'm hungry." After saying that, he looked at Su Yao with wide eyes, seeming a little embarrassed.

Su Yao smiled, took out some spiritual fruits from the storage bag, placed them on the table, and asked him to come and eat.

Maybe it was really the nature of a child. Not long after Nalan Jingyue finished eating, he started to feel sleepy again, so he was sent back to bed.

Sure enough, not long after lying on the bed, he fell into a deep sleep. Only then did Su Yao tiptoe out and close the door.

When I went out, I knew why he was feeling sleepy. It turned out that the moon had already risen.

I couldn't help but stretch. I hadn't had a good rest during this time outside. Now that I have some free time, I naturally need to have a good sleep.

She turned around and walked back to her room. Before, in order to save some time for cultivation, Su Yao would always go into the space to sleep, but now there was an extra Nalan Jingyue in the yard.

After thinking about it, I decided not to enter the space. Firstly, I was afraid that he would come looking for me and I would not be in the room. Secondly, I also wanted to enjoy a normal schedule after a long time.

Su Yao lay on the bed. Being in the sect made her feel extremely relaxed and at ease. She fell into a deep sleep in a short while.

In the second half of the night, Su Yao's door was gently pushed open, and a figure walked in on tiptoe, holding a quilt. It seemed that the person was afraid of waking Su Yao up.

In the dark of night, the visitor carefully identified the place where Su Yao was sleeping. After confirming the location, he quietly closed the door again.

Then he slowly walked towards Su Yao. When he passed by the window, a ray of light hit the face of the person who came. It was Nalan Jingyue.

There were tears in his eyes, as if he had just cried.

He walked to Su Yao's bed and stared at her for a while. In the end, he did not wake her up. He just lay down quietly beside her, picked up the quilt he brought and covered her with it. Only then did he finally fall asleep contentedly.

As for Su Yao, because so many things had happened during this period, and she had been rushing on the way back, she was completely relaxed at this moment and had no idea about all this.

Halfway through his sleep, Nalan Jingyue's quilt accidentally fell to the ground because it was too close to the bed. Feeling the coldness on his body, he unconsciously pulled the quilt from the side to cover himself.

Without a quilt, Su Yao could only lean towards the warmth beside her instinctively. Nalan Jingyue turned over, and one arm naturally rested on him.

Regarding this action, Su Yao just muttered in her dream and nothing more happened.

Then the two of them slept well all night. Nalan Jingyue felt like he was hugging a pillow, while Su Yao felt like she was hugging a heater. It just happened like that, and it was hard to tell who hugged whom first.

The next day, Su Yao was awakened by her biological clock. Even if she went to bed late, her biological clock would wake her up on time.
