Chapter 101: The revelation of his identity is too shocking!

The night was quiet...

A cavalryman galloped out of the north gate, heading straight towards the Allied camp.

He traversed the main road, passed through the jungle, and finally ventured into the small mountains, where he found himself on a small path...

Suddenly! A vine shot up from the forest, and the horse, unable to dodge in time, tumbled to the ground with its rider, the soldier's legs being crushed by the mount!

"Aa ...

Suddenly, a squad of soldiers surged out from the woods, and Connor took the sword handed to him by one of them, preparing to stab him.

"Wait! Wait!" The enemy soldier took out the envelope in his hand and waved it, saying, "Letter, letter..."

Connor took the letter, opened it with a puzzled look, and read through its contents again and again by the moonlight and the torches held by the soldiers.

His gaze shifted from initial shock to skepticism, before he finally nodded and handed the letter to his teammate.

"Prepare to enter the city! Notify all troops!"

...

"Keep up!"

"Don't fall behind! Keep up with the group in front!"

A feathered eagle soared through the sky, its gaze fixed on the long line of people in the forest below, heading straight for Shadow City.

Finally, it landed back in Parker's arms...

The north gate was wide open, and the guards knelt on one knee, giving up all resistance and letting the allied forces enter the city.

The garrison troops lying in ambush within the city also revealed their positions and disarmed themselves.

"Watch your surroundings and protect His Highness!" The soldiers patrolled the streets, remaining vigilant.

The knights' procession, escorted by soldiers, entered the city, including wagons carrying supplies and Elsie on board.

The carriage lurched and swayed. Elsie closed her eyes. Connor said, "The day of the conquest is today."

Elsie opened her eyes. Windsor was beside her, curiously looking at the layout of the city, but she didn't actually need to do anything.

“Tonight will be very interesting.” Elsie smiled and looked down.

The various knightly orders at the front lines remained wary of each other and refused to unite, while Manlin's envelope informed Mo Yuan that he intended to surrender.

But he needed to have Elsie lead her troops into the city quietly, without the garrison attacking them along the way; they only needed to reach the fortress's central area.

The reasons for surrendering and the demands will be explained in detail at the fortress headquarters.

"Elsie, will we face a bloody battle tonight?" Windsor asked with slight unease; the garrison in the city was more complex than she had imagined.

The coalition forces probably cannot escort them to safety.

"If General Mo Yuan resorts to desperate measures, we will be in a very awkward position..."

“No, it will be soon,” Elsie repeated with a smile. “It will be soon.”

"He wants to negotiate with me only to get a pardon. His only choices are to submit to me or to defeat me, but I don't think he can defeat me..."

The Wind Demon Jade Blade spun at her fingertips, like fine silver silk.

...

The night wind quietly swept through Shadow City.

The soldiers gathered in front of the steps of the fortress's central area. Connor and Trisna dismounted and, as the knights arrived, they stepped onto the steps together, their weapons already drawn.

The knights' chaotic footsteps echoed like a symphony of declarations of war as they ascended the long staircase.

The carriage arrived at the long steps, and all the Shadow City guards kneeling beside the steps stared at the carriage, wondering why a carriage would stop here.

Suddenly, the carriage door opened, and a silver-haired little girl dressed lightly stepped onto the steps.

who is she! ?

The garrison soldiers looked at Trisna, who was fully armed, and subconsciously thought that Trisna in her silver helmet was Elsie.

The little girl is now walking in the protective circle of the knights, with Trisna escorting her from the side.

"go ahead."

"Enter the room."

Yin Lang and Dong Shan Hong were the first to reach the front of the steps, seemingly wary of the guards beside the steps.

Elsie wasn't in a hurry; she seemed to have great faith in her knight to escort her into the room.

"Seriously, you don't need to be afraid at all, do you? Those guys are no match for you, and besides, you have hidden magical talent!"

“Have you ever seen a one-year-old with more magical talent than a legendary mage? I don’t want to cause that much trouble.” Elsie shook her head.

Who knows how many eyes are watching nearby? She doesn't believe that such a commotion tonight went unnoticed!

The moon is so beautiful tonight... it's a pity it's cloudy, so we can't see it.

On the massive stone steps, the knights guarded the true Elsie as she walked towards her final resting place.

Her footsteps were so light, like the rustling of a mouse stealing grain, yet in that moment, they became a perfect sound in the silent night.

The narrator's narration never disappoints!

In short, Elsie had arrived at the gate, and Dongshan Hong and Yinlang each pushed open one side of the gate.

Looking into the darkness inside, the only thing visible was General Mo Yuan standing before the candlelight.

Trisna went in first, followed closely by Connor and the others.

The surroundings were quiet. Manlin, who was next to General Mo Yuan, stared at Cuisina and immediately knelt down, saying, "My lord!"

"Ha, you must be Elsie?" Mo Yuan stood up from his chair and looked Trisna up and down.

"It's unbelievable, I thought based on the timeline..." He gestured to indicate his height, "You'd be quite short!"

"Not bad, but why would someone with the physique of an assassin be a cavalryman..."

"Thump—" The sound of Trisna taking off her helmet and throwing it on the ground silenced Mo Yuan completely.

"You!" Mo Yuan's eyes widened, because what appeared before him was...

"No! How could this be!?" He picked up the candle and used its light to see clearly the imposter Elsie!

“Dark... Elf?” Manlin was also stunned.

"Who exactly are you?!" Mo Yuan gasped, took a few steps back, and leaned against the table.

Trisna didn't speak, but instead, along with the other knights, made way, knelt on one knee, and bowed in respect.

The door closed slowly, and Elsie quietly turned around, her blood-red eyes gleaming in the darkness.

The Mo Yuan guards, who were standing in the corner, drew their swords and pointed them at Elsie. They sensed the powerful magic emanating from her!

"My lord!" all the knights shouted in unison.

"My...My Lord!?" Manlin and Moyuan were both stunned.

Trisna is not Elsie Tiran!!

Their eyes were fixed on the child, the real Elsie!

"You're pointing your swords at me?" Elsie glanced sideways at the Mo Yuan guards who had drawn their swords.

"Do you really think you can keep yourselves safe in this isolated room?"

Elsie spun a whirlwind at her fingertips, and the Mo Yuan guards around her tried to dodge, but the whirlwind whipped them into a corner!

They tried to resist, but the magical power completely bound them, making it impossible for them to fight back!

"Woo-woo—" The lump of flesh in the corner let out a fearful cry.

"And what about you?" Elsie had appeared in front of Mo Yuan without him noticing. She touched his face with her hand and gave a cold smile.

"Where do you get the audacity to confront me?"
