"..."
When she opened her eyes, she was in a bustling city. Elsie didn't quite remember what had happened before.
With multiple memories intertwined, she only remembers a few of the more important parts.
Before she could even begin to use the power of reversal, she was swallowed up by the Soul Abyss.
So... this is another world?
It seems my story isn't over yet.
“Hmm…” Elsie touched her chest, looking dejected.
"I feel like I've lost something."
"So, do you want to find those?" A mysterious man approached Elsie.
"Who are you?" Elsie asked warily.
“You can call me Mr. I’m Not Important, because I really am not important. The guy who accidentally fell into the water over there is more important to you.” The mysterious man pointed to the side of the bridge.
People there were shouting, "Someone has fallen into the water!"
Without hesitation, Elsie rushed over, diving into the water and locking onto the boy who was sinking deeper and deeper.
Her hand touched his, and the power of reversal quietly began to activate...
...
The long-sealed memories seemed to have been unlocked.
"Narrator, welcome back." Elsie smiled and pulled Ji Xiao ashore.
...
Ji Xiao opened his eyes and stared at that retreating figure...
"El...Xi?"
...
Perhaps, this is the end of the story.
Elsie used all her magic to activate the reversal, but as for who was reversed, she seemed to have forgotten; some being had erased that memory.
She sensed that the world was quietly changing, probably in the direction she had hoped for.
She had a premonition that one day she would meet her nemesis again.
Now, she can relax and accept this final, unchangeable moment.
...
...
Still not gone? The previous chapter was actually finished, but my application to finish it was rejected. The system said I wasn't finished and I could apply again in three days.
Um... well, so I added a few hundred words to supplement the setting of the next book. You heard me right, the next book!
The next book is finished, and I'll work on the cover in a bit. It will take a little time, so please be patient.
Now that you've all made it this far, let me give a brief summary of this book.
The title is bad, and the beginning is terrible, so let's not criticize it too much. The later parts aren't very good either, and the lack of immersion is to be expected, since we are just watching from an observer's perspective.
Some say the narrator isn't really a narrator, but rather an observer. That's true; the narrator says he's a narrator at the beginning, but that doesn't mean he is. It's just a little joke to fool Elsie.
The New Year's greetings have been fulfilled!
The promise to update more chapters has been fulfilled!
All the plot holes have been filled... For those that haven't been filled, just put down a book.
The main issue is that my earnings were so impressive that I couldn't withstand the changes, so a lot of the storyline was cut, which makes it feel a bit abrupt.
As for whether Elsie successfully reversed the situation, my answer is yes.
The next book will continue the story after Keomi's reversal. As for whether there will be any connections between them, we'll see.
Nearly 400,000 words, died of lack of money. Hopefully the next book will be better.
In this final volume, you might notice I'm not mentioning names of those who donated anymore, because... I've been staying up all night updating every day. I'd groggily get up at 7 AM and click send, without time or opportunity to thank anyone, but I'm still reading!
As you all know, the weather changed a while ago, and I, a fragile college student, almost died. Coupled with the tight schedule of my courses, it's already amazing that I can update daily.
I'll save up a few more chapters for my next book just in case, and I'll release it within three days. Please check it out!
In the last chapter, as I typed my final words... my mood... was very calm. As I stepped outside and felt the wind blowing, I thought of those years and months, those "too much" moments, bit by bit.
Perhaps this can be considered a form of freedom?
So……
See you in the next book!
The story is finished! Hooray!
