Chapter 219 Sweeping Through Nearby Southwest Stores

After Bella explained the special symbols of the stores under the Southwest Chamber of Commerce to him in detail, Luo Fan set off, asking Bella to hide far away to meet him.

It turns out the big boss was going to take action against the Southwest Chamber of Commerce. Such a powerful chamber of commerce, yet the big boss wasn't afraid at all; she herself didn't have that kind of courage.

Seeing the cultivation resources provided by the powerful figure, Bella immediately entered into meditation, full of enthusiasm. She couldn't become a burden to the powerful figure.

Ugh, still no sign of the boss, just a flickering shadow. Bella figured it was all because she was too weak. Tifa must have seen the boss; she couldn't be worse than her.

Luo Fan was unaware of what was happening in the capital, nor of Bella's wild speculations. The faster the operation, the better; he planned to simultaneously traverse multiple towns and sweep through them as quickly as possible.

Considering the current flight speed, Luo Fan once again commanded Bella's bird, even going so far as to feed it a Wind Spirit Grass.

Soon, he looted the merchant guild warehouse in the hot spring town, and even left behind some scraps of Vulcan Temple clothing in the shadows, playing a trick that backfired.

Next, they went to another small town and repeated the same operation. In the middle of the night, they looted seven or eight shops, taking away a large amount of basic materials and magic cores, as well as a lot of miscellaneous equipment.

Finally, they returned to the hot spring town and used the scroll from the Temple of Vulcan to blow up the shops there, thus getting back to Bella's vicinity.

After such a long ordeal, the Swift Sparrow was almost at its breaking point. Bella, seeing her exhausted pet, asked her owner's permission before putting it away.

"Master, where do we go next?" Bella asked the void after meditating for most of the night.

Where did the owner go that he exhausted his pet?

"Let's go meet those underground forces, and rob them again. You lead the way!"

"Okay, this way."

The Southwest Chamber of Commerce's store was blown up and caught fire. The sounds of firefighting attracted a lot of attention, and the once quiet town became lively again, which in turn drew attention to his next move.

At this time, under Bella's guidance, Luo Fan began to wreak havoc, using weapons from the Temple of Fire God. He burned many hidden demons and destroyed several strongholds.

Having cleared out the hot spring town, Bella, led the way to the next destination.

"Master, you're amazing. I didn't even see how you killed them." Apart from leading the way and assassinating the two gatekeepers, Bella hadn't seen how the boss did it, and yet he was incredibly efficient.

So, how did the expert discover the location of the secret room?

"Your cultivation level is too low. Once you reach my level, killing will be a piece of cake. Those demons are all lackeys of the Demon Abyss. If you encounter them in the future, just take action if you're confident." Luo Fan feigned mystery; the woman's admiring manner seemed quite amusing.

"Oh, okay. But what exactly are those demons?"

"Humanity's demonization is a result of being seduced by the Abyss of Demons. They believe that this will grant them power, but in essence, they are nothing more than pathetic playthings, some even fantasizing about becoming gods!"

Luo Fan explained, trying his best to appear knowledgeable, as he followed the girl quickly through the mountains and forests, while keeping an eye on the surroundings.

Attributing the credit to the Temple of Fire was a decision he had carefully considered; he didn't want to expose himself. The forces behind these demons were probably quite powerful, and they might even cause considerable unrest.

You can only fish in troubled waters. Now that you've made a breakthrough, you need to be more proactive.

It would be even better if someone secretly attacked the Temple of Vulcan. Perfect timing, those hot-tempered individuals need someone to vent their anger on, and the Southwest Chamber of Commerce is just one of their targets.

When I get back, I'll take some time to investigate that Peppa Pig and see who's behind this.

"I see. Then they really are no good. Could it be that those underground forces are all colluding with the Demon Abyss?"

Bella was no stranger to the Abyss of Demons; it had always been an enemy of humanity and a forbidden zone for humankind.

"I'm not sure, anyway, not many of those forces are any good guys."

"That's true."

The previous killings had also yielded some spiritual materials, so Bella is now full of energy, knowing that following the big boss will bring her benefits.

The new stronghold was located in a secluded mountain valley. Luo Fan actually saw the figures of orcs, and there were more than one, both men and women, busy with something.

"Bella, could it be that all the beastmen in the capital are in this place?" Luo Fan pondered as he looked at the situation before him.

"I don't know either. I discovered this place by accident. There used to be some orc slaves in the capital, but they suddenly disappeared a few months ago, so I investigated them out of curiosity."

"Oh, alright." Looking at the orcs bound by chains, he suddenly realized that the orc empire had also sent people, so the empire was probably doing this to save face.

"Master, are you perhaps interested in orcs?"

There was no response for half a day; the big shot had disappeared.

Bella hid in the bushes, watching the situation in the valley from afar, waiting for the boss's summons.

So many concealment arrays! Luo Fan carefully explored the surroundings, gradually venturing deeper, and saw more and more orcs, including many female orcs suffering various forms of torture.

Inside the room, there were even some mages researching how to graft limbs of magical beasts onto orcs. It looked quite bloody, and the huge sounds of pain were blocked by an array.

At the bottom of the ravine not far from the room, Luo Fan also discovered the remains of many failed works, as well as some magical beasts that were gnawing on the corpses, which looked like the pets of some of the people above.

Every now and then, some orcs would be driven to carry the corpses of their own kind down there.

No wonder the relationship between orcs and humans has never been good. With such a hellish scene, how could it possibly be good? If the orc high command found out, would it trigger a new war?

Luo Fan continued deeper and discovered many more gruesome scenes. Finally, he found a dark magic master, who was probably the most powerful being here.

Once it's confirmed that the other side has no other hidden tricks up their sleeve, the killing should begin!

Bored, Bella cautiously observed from outside. There was no sound coming from the ravine. Could it be that the big boss had run into trouble?

That's impossible, he's that strong.

Just then, she sensed that someone was approaching nearby, but before she could escape, she was knocked unconscious and tied up.

When she was woken up by the splashing water, all she saw were the figures of several men in black.

“Tell me, why are you following us?”

Hearing the other person's words, which seemed to be somewhat hesitant, Bella immediately came to her senses.

"My lords, I was just passing by and had no idea you would come. I only glanced at the situation in that ravine and really didn't mean to."

Bella screamed inwardly, "Big boss, come save me!"

Her previous success, coupled with the protection of a powerful figure, had lowered her guard, resulting in her being ambushed.

"Well, since that's the case, let's just kill them! There's no point in keeping them alive anyway!"

"No! I don't want to die!" Bella shouted desperately, only to have her head knocked unconscious again.

Strangely, the commotion here didn't attract any attention from the other side of the ravine, which was highly unusual.

"Princess, what do we do now?" The man in black wasn't speaking a human language, but Luo Fan could definitely understand him; it was the animal language he had learned.

“I suggest killing this guy to avoid revealing our location,” someone interjected.

"Well~" Just as she was about to agree, a strange voice suddenly echoed in the princess's mind.

Upon his return, Luo Fan once again put his talents to use, becoming a master conman.
