Chapter 47 Subspecies of Flying Dragons Soar Through the Skies, The Magic Empire

The Royal Academy of the Kingdom of Gil participated in the competition. Both teachers were at the Master level, and their personal beast-drawn carriages, one male and one female, were positioned at the front and back of the team.

Suddenly, the beautiful great magician Ella behind them looked back.

Sensing something amiss in the sky, their eyes spotted a flying dragon.

Is it a Warcraft attack?

Ella immediately issued a warning using her telepathic powers.

The convoy stopped, and the two Master Jing teachers took off.

Swordsmen at the Master level can fly briefly, while wind-elemental archmages can fly for extended periods.

The flying dragon arrived in the distance, and the two teachers relaxed a bit. Judging from the metal mount on the dragon's back, it must be a magical pet.

Is it not a monster attack, but a procession of imperial dignitaries?

It's not easy to afford a flying dragon. The two teachers flew a little too low and unintentionally blocked people's way in the sky.

However, the flying dragon charged straight towards them.

It was the sharp-eyed swordsman, Arno, who shouted, "Young Master Ron is back! Don't panic!"

It turned out that the dragon's mount wasn't soundproof. Fortunately, the two teachers calmed down. However, Ron, who was flying in the dragon, waved to them.

They were both amused and exasperated, as Ella had almost used magic earlier.

Uncle Arno shouted loudly, and Princess Shirley immediately came out upon hearing Ron's voice.

"dragon!"

"Ron, you're back so soon? And... you're already riding a dragon?"

"..."

Ron found the princess's blank expression amusing.

Jeff signaled that Xiaolong had landed safely.

Although it was stable, its wings flapped so wide that the things below seemed to be blown away.

The magical beasts that were riding the beast-drawn carriage tried to run away upon seeing the dragon, but fortunately, the driver managed to keep them in place.

With Ron's return, the team was in disarray.

Once the little dragon landed and stopped flapping its wings, the people on it jumped down.

Ron also used wind-based movement techniques, making him as light as a swallow.

He then addressed the two teachers present: "Hello, teachers, I, Ron, am back."

“You’re back, but this…”

“Little Dragon is nothing special,” Ron said with a chuckle.

The princess ran to the side: "Ron, I want to ride a dragon!"

A product of the empire, Princess Shirley of the Kingdom of Gil has never actually ridden a dragon, or rather, sat on one.

"Sure! I brought you along when I came here."

Then, Ron turned to the two teachers: "Ron and the princess have some things to do. See you at the competition."

Ron is the team leader! The two teachers have an assisting role, so what else can be said?

Two of the teachers also wanted to ride the flying dragon, but... they saw Ron and Princess Sherry ride back on the little dragon's back together.

The metal platform was almost full of people: Ron and his three companions, Shirley and Beth, two great swordsmen guards from the palace, Myron among them, and another great swordsman, Corey, who had just arrived to protect the princess.

With the addition of a great swordsman, and the king's intention to also protect Ron, there are eight guest seats for the little dragon, with Jeff's seat at the very front being slightly different.

We're off!

Once again, dust billows as the journey continues: across the magical empire of Carlo, towards the Kingdom of Gran, the homeland of the legendary space mage.

An unexpected dragon ride, a flying vehicle, and enough time.

Time for a trip! Time to get some things done.

Traveling thousands of miles in a day, the subspecies of flying dragon is truly formidable; Charles is quite generous.

Princess Shirley sat next to Ron, shouting and yelling, much more out of control than the usually composed Vivian.

He spends most of his time either in the palace or the academy, unlike when Ron was a child and went hunting with Vivian, riding a flying dragon and feeling a sense of freedom.

"Ron, look, the mountains below look so small."

"Clouds, catch the clouds."

"..."

With a magical shield, I could fly quickly without experiencing strong air currents, but I couldn't catch up with the clouds.

Princess Shirley shook her head, taking it for granted...

Ron smiled and replied with "oh."

A joyful journey awaits, with anticipation for the wonders of the magical empire.

The continent was too big, too big. Without the help of the teleportation magic arrays in the few cities, and by taking a land-based beast-drawn carriage, I flew through the sky and finally experienced the vastness of the continent.

The wise man who traveled thousands of miles wrote in the book is telling the truth: walking on the mainland would exhaust a person to death.

With its vast territory and sparse population, Ron was genuinely confident that the total population would reach the standards of his previous world, or perhaps even exceed them.

Fly, stop, pitch the tent, then fly again.

After several days, Princess Sherry has finally settled down.

Since the journey was scenic and not too boring, playing a game of two players missing one in the sky under the protection of the magic shield was quite enjoyable.

"Your Majesty, take ten, and you'll win."

"No, how come Ron won again?"

"If you're not convinced, let's fight again."

Although it is a small dragon species, there is enough space above it, which is used by the Magic Crystal Guild for its high-level members.

Even if you squeeze in a bit, there's still room for more people; it's big enough to play cards.

Once you've set up camp below, you can meditate.

Since I want to finish what I need to do, I won't go into the city to play. I'll come back another time when I have the chance, because I want to go back for the competition.

During this period, I thoroughly enjoyed the fun of riding the flying dragon.

Finally, after flying into the territory of the Magic Empire, to the border city of the Carlo Empire, Jeff presented the Magic Crystal Merchant Guild's credentials.

The ascending grand mage granted the documents and allowed passage.

That way, there's no need to use the Kingdom of Gil tribute token that Ron brought. Keeping a low profile is good!

Upon entering the skies above the city of the Magic Empire, people all looked toward the flying dragon.

This isn't the Rich Kingdom; flying dragons are quite rare here.

Meanwhile, the lower-flying dragons also allowed Ron to see the situation of the Magic Empire.

Approaching the Elf Forest, one can see many elves, both male and female.

Queen Carol had long ago issued decrees strictly prohibiting the existence of elven slaves, ensuring that the tragic events of the past would never be repeated.

Over time, the Elven race has attempted to venture out in small numbers.

Why the elves who once ruled the continent have become so rare is an ancient secret, passed down through countless versions to this day.

Elementalists have incredibly sharp eyesight. Ron could see the elven artworks from afar. The border city was a place where martial arts flourished, making it difficult to land. When they reached the next imperial city, Ron couldn't help but have Jeff land.

"Young Master Ron, the match..."

"It won't interfere with anything, I'll just stroll around for a little while."

"Let's go, Princess, Vivian, and the two uncles."

"..."

The group followed Ron into the city.

Their attire, whether that of nobles from a foreign country or not, attracted a lot of attention.

However, the clothing of Jeff's Magic Crystal Merchant Guild was so eye-catching that the uniforms of Wright, Arno, and Tulip Merchant Guilds were not so well-known.

We've arrived at the magic empire on the other side of the continent!

Feeling it wasn't a good time to go shopping, I first went to a branch of the Magic Crystal Merchant Guild to buy some clothes, giving Princess Sherry a complete makeover.

Let's set off and see the elven artwork.

After browsing for a long time, Ron and his party were surprised to find that shops run by elves were something unimaginable in the Kingdom of Gil.

Powerful elf adventurers are rare in the Kingdom of Gil.

"A whole bunch of magic crystals," Ron said. "Let's go in and take a look."

Thirteen-year-old Ron, a noble boy: "Elf sister, you're so beautiful. How much is this magic pendant?"
